very exciting. next weekend should be interesting.

The POWERVR Insider Team have posted an email for all members to submit devices to demonstrate at Mobile World Congress previously known as 3GSM in Feb 11 - 14. This is a really big deal. It would be great to be able to show off something from the Craiginator at that point. Hopefully there would be something to show at that point. (Quake3? OpenArean?)

Does anyone want more information? I'd be glad to post the email.

You can get started dev'ing apps here.

The dashboard I'm coding has evolutionated evolved LOL

Now, instead of a monolithic full-screen app that works like the GP2X menu, is a window manager, with some apps like the home screen, a web browser, file explorer... So, we can run any X11 application (considering craiginator apps are X11 aplications) and switch between them.

It also features a framework for building applications, on C++ and scripting languages like Python (it can support other scripting languages if modules were written)

This is my idea for _my_ craiginator dashboard. The applications run on fullscreen, without nothing over it, but when you touch one of the four screen corners, this frame appears. On the bottom of the frame there are the icons of the running applications (home screen -always running-, a web browser, a media player playing a song, and a playstation emulator, this one on front) The menus are independient of the app, althought it will be possible to an app to add a menu there using my GUI libraries.

Sorry, it's in spanish. The menu means: Applications, Favourites, System
"Como quiere tu abuelita" is a song from the spanish group Marea
And there is a bug in the image, there is a Nintendo 64 icon where it should be a Playstation icon :p

I don't know why all this talk about when the end of the week is.... Craig said he's mailing stuff out, as in physically mailing it. Not e-mail... so if he expects people in the UK would get whatever he sent by the end of the week it's probably going to be a good bit longer for those of us in North America and other places further away. So it's kind of pointless to discuss whether Saturday or Sunday is the 'end of the week'. :p Also the mail doesn't even run on Sundays most places I know of.....

I'm not getting my hopes up and will expect a month.

I think it should be pretty obvious by now that he's mailing out a free first edition craiginator to everyone who donated

Maybe it's a special stylus?

Or he knows something we don't about the ACTUAL screen size. ;)

No, it's because I simply take the photo from google images and I did put it without considering the size. I noticed it too late, when the image was posted in this thread.

Well it would be nice to post it with the actual screen size...some of us unfortunately have bigger hands...hopefully the stylus isn't tiny either...

or should I throw it in photoshop and reduce it down to the correct size...no wait never mind

Sorry, but I have a hard time with sarcasm. Would you mind telling me what you really mean? :D

Wow, this is Wiki information right here. It sounds like efegea knows a little more than we do about the Craiginator software. :)
