Yeah, I know that. I meant squishy as in their lack of tactile feedback, not the feeling of the buttons themselves. Sorry if that caused any confusion.jakewastaken said:From what I understand the buttons will be plastic and go on top of a thin rubber membrane. I don't think the actual keys are rubber. It may not be clicky, but they should be hard.
I plan on skipping all that hassle and just using the screen to see the keyboard. You only really need to look for odd functions, the rest of the layout will become second nature, like texting. Or, at least that's been my experience.ish420 said:ckickity clack? That sh!t sounds wack. How you like that?
I like that the buttons will have that "controller" feel. I don't like clicks or clacks. I'm already thinking as to how I'm going to replace the plastic buttons with clear ones and add inner LEDs to make a back lit keypad.
I like the buttons on the PSP(clear with a black plastic lining with printed function on the back of the button itself) This way the letters will never rub off. I don't know if that came out right. But if you have a PSP, you'll know what I mean.

I was just thinking of a cool looking mod.
That might be a problem on a bigger keyboard but, honestly, size will be the limiting factor to speed of typing on the Pandora.lobski said:The problem with the rubber membrane is that, you won't be able to type as fast, since it requires more force for a key hit to register than a tact.
