I was listening to a lot of Eurodance when I was going through tough times. It's pretty poppy, so it's good for getting you out of a funk. And some artists (like Gunther) are pretty lulzworthy. I moved on to trance after that. During the height of tax season, it was nice to set aside about a half hour per night to turn off the lights, lay down, slip on the headphones, and listen to trance or progressive house music. I've been exploring different kinds of house recently (and other electronica in general), but I still enjoy trance (esp. epic trance).
