Not true.Chinese people usually read from left to right and top to bottom these days. During my year in China I didn't once come across any written material that was right to left. The orthography doesn't demand that it be printed in one direction or another, but they've pretty much standardzied on left to right and top to bottom these days for most things. I have run across the odd book which was top to bottom and left to right since I returned home, but it's certainly not common.Who said I was trying to be confusing?
