I was playing earthbound when I noticed an annoying spot on my screen. Having the protective plastic wrap that came with the Gp32 blu on the screen yet B) I thought it was on there... Nope sadly I finally decided to remove the plastic  a move I wasn't sure about doing... With closer inspection sadness came over me. I lost a pixel :( It is towards the middle of my gp32 also so that kinda sucks. It also sucks that I had only had this bad boy for about a week and now a pixel is gone :-( Oh well it is still the best thing ever!

I just hope more pixels don't start to rebel against my gp32 gp32_console

I havent lost a pixel on the gp32_console but I did loose one early in the life of my GBAsp, And a few months later I lost a second... but it's been a year or two now and it hasnt had any problems. While I do still know they;re there, I dont much care because I can still see my games with no problem.

It's not something that should bother you unless you let it.

ya, losing pixels is like losing a kid. My monitor was 3 kids short when I got it. We promptly had a funeral, it was a sad day.

My Orange spv c500 smartphone has had a dead pixel since the day i got it, Right in the middle of the screen. It is a perminently on blue colour, But does not distract unless the whole screen is black or a single colour other than black. It does`nt bother me now, I`ve got use to it and just refer to it as my little dead pixel.

I got a digital camera over a month ago and that had what i believe to be a dead pixel and i sent it back and got a replacement.
Only since ive read that companies dont have to do this, as 1 or 2 dead pixels isnt consided "enough". So i guess i was pretty lucky.

One week ago, my Radeon 9800 Pro died :( . She just died when i switched on my computer. A grapics card is, literally spoken, the father of all pixels that appear on mother screen. I bought her just a month ago at ebay and now i have to play on a GF 3... You see, i really need Your comfort :( .
Rest in Peace, Radeon 9800pro and all other dead hardware equipment, may you be pixels or not. I will miss you.

I had dead Pixels on a lot of systems, but all actual consoles are fine. :D
BUT I have the ultimate dead Pixel now on my OLED Display at my Camera.
OLED's are shining in bright red when the Pixel dies, you don't believe how annoying that looks, I think that's the only reason no one uses OLED, because it's superior in every other aspect.

No dead pixels as of yet, although there is one on my sisters lapyop.

I'm typing on it now, looks like there might be 1 or 2 actually.

I was thinking about getting some screen protectors and then cutting them to size for my gp32. I used to use them on my handspring platnium until i got rid of that.
I think a scratch would be more annoying than a tiny white spot so... I think I'll be making screen protectors in the near future :D

its pointless, a new lastic gp32 screen would cost £1

a new tablet for a pocket pc would cost £70

Apparently the Actor Robin Williams got so fed up with pixel failures on monitors that he started an awareness group.

The Dead Pixel Society.

I'll get my coat :)
