I`ve got around to make a little website for stuff I`m made/make/going to make for the gp32.

Visit my page here and tell me what you think.

Downloads from my website don`t work yet.

Oh and don`t forget to try out the menu demo for my minigame project, especially if you want to code a minigame for the project! :D

Thanks.

nice, but the downloads give me an "403 Zugang verweigert" error

yup, some problems, but I`m too tired to fix this now.

Simplistic the way it should be,, no shit just straight in there with content, haha

Simple, that is what I wanted it to be. Why are you laughing at me?

change the font.

Why? To what? I like this to be as simple as possible.

simple isn't the same as cliche...

(don't get me wrong I don't Not like it, but I can't help it. I've been trained to criticise design...)

I like the navigation, the only other thing I'd say (and I have no idea how difficult it is to do) would be to make the links not be underlined.

Cliche? What cliche? I`m confused now.

And, yeah, I want to have them not to be underlinded, but I don`t know how to make it.
And I don`t know what type of font I should use (and how to use)

to take out the underlining put this in the top between the <head>

Code:
<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
A {text-decoration:none}
</STYLE>

so the top becomes

Code:
<html>
<head>
<title>My GP32 Projects</title>
<body link=black alink=black blink=black vlink=black>
<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
A {text-decoration:none}
</STYLE>
</head>

i would neccessarily do it just for the sake of style tho

because people wont neccessarily know if they are links

Nice job :) , the only thing it needs would be a cool backround for the downloads, projects, etc. Yea sure, the font could be changed, but its fine. It's NOT the ugly simplistic type.

Thanks. I want to make that Phoenix I copied and pasted onto the gp32 for the title screen a bit brighter and use it as a background.

I never said it was ugly. I quite like it in fact.

@quiest

The font is the cliche, its been used far far to much and there are plenty of similar but nicer fonts out there to use instead (I'd use a Sans serif font though if I were you. NOT arial though!)

As for the phoenix, its pretty cool, but I'd leave it where it is if I were you. Like you say your going for simplicity.

yep, sans serif is more modern and clean

id leave the background white

u might wanna consider a mouseover for the links, so that when the mouse goes over they change to a grey shade, to hit home the fact that they are links and not just words

the font is cliche? if you viewed the source, it doesnt even specify a font. its just the default font your browser sets when no font is specified in the stylesheet.

hence the cliche. Default faces (new roman, helvetica etc.) are over used BECAUSE they are the default. Most people can't be bothered to change them so they've gotton old real quickly.

Anyway, no need to get defensive this is entirely constructive criticism. Quiest asked for everyones opinion and I'm giving mine.

@Magoo

You seem quite clued up on design, what do you do (school/uni etc.)

Not bad.. I would have thought that the links would change colour by default in html.. :S

At least it isn't overly cluttered like many other sites... ;)

A problem I can see is that when you start doing more and more demos/ games.. the page is going to be really long .. you can use anchor tags which will make the navigation a little easier when that happens though :p

I`m glad you posted your opinion, and I never assumed you do not like it.
And I`m not getting defensive, I just had no idea how to change it.

I just found this SelfHTML tutorial/guide thingie, so I`m looking around in that,
and let you know when I`ve updated it.

I like that dragon thing that's in the title pic. :D

You have some interesting projects going on there. :) I have a project of my own, and I should put it on my site, but I'm doing it weird: I'm making the game to run on windows (so I don't have to use Geepee, or dump it to the smc every build), and then I'm going to port it over to gp32.

Well anyway, what are the minigames supposed to be like? Really short and rapid like warioware's, or what?
