I think you'll find that the GBA's screen resolution is smaller than that.

D.

Ah, my bad. 240x160 then.

ok, this video is getting KILLER SOUND out of gpsp.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=DlEsRno8bzA

Mine crackles like crazy, though most games are great speed (Castlevania, Metroid, Advance wars...Mario Kart, Mario Golf and FF Tactics..excuriataingly slow on the other hand)

anwyas...chekcing this guys settings, he's got sound buffering to like 2048bytes

I can only set it to about 16xx bytes.

what's the deal there? How's that possible? And how do I get faster sound?

That's me, got your message as well :)
This is the version I use: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=36767

how weird is this...?
GBA has been working grea (thx Miika). that version is tops so far.
I let my little borther play with if for a bit..and the music was too loud, so he just decreases the volume a couple of notches.
after a rest or two, there is no sound in the emu.
THe audio is turned to YES but no sound...Even after a couple of on/off/restarts etc.
and here's the best part: my audio buffering only goes to 16xx .. not the 20xx that it used to hit..

I'm gonna reinstall the emu, but that is totally puzzlling.

EDIT:: Ok..I recopied the emu, keeping the same bios and /roms.
It still had no sound.
then I ran it from the GP2x browser (as opposed to gmenu2x link) and the sound works.
I deleted the link and recreated it, and now all is well..THOUGH my sound buffring is still only up to 16xx..but the sound is as good as 20xx.

Is there some permanent config files that stays resident here? (as my overclocking sped has maintained at 237 despite the reinstall)
