Firmware 1.1.0 Released On Korean Page

- USB still broke here.
- No newsletter (but I got mine from GP32z.com)
- Scanlines on videos appears to be video-dependant.
- My battery life on 2300mah appears to be VERY acceptable (lots of Frodo)
- Video quality looks the same
- What? Still no MPG support? Killin' me here...
- Still can't OC past 250mhz (not that I thought it would make a difference - but dammit, I want my Robotron)

:)

Hmm, USB doesn't work with my high-speedish cord, but it works with the cable included. It just says "Your USB connection could be faster with a high speed cord!" and works kinda slow.

Sorry for this particularly n00blike question, I just want to be sure I know what I'm doing before I start so I don't mess it all up!

I've copied all the files to the root directory, so the firmware *should* update automatically when I turn on the GP2X, correct? Do I have to do anything with that .gpu file afterwards or can it just be ignored and deleted when the auto-update is done?

What does it do? I thought the whole thing was automatic...

(Just point me in the right direction if this has been asked before!)

The actual firmware update bit is automatic. You run the .gpu to update all the program files, such as mplayer.
