@Shenmue: Funny, I had nearly the same thought...

"Because he's BATMAN!" *dadam"

My FF doesn't start anymore, since the update from 26.0 to 27.0.

I wonder what went wrong...

EDIT:

That's what I get if I run it from a terminal:

$ pnd_run firefox.hdonk.500.pnd
Runscript /usr/pandora/scripts/pnd_run.sh
Pndfile firefox.hdonk.500.pnd
Subapp Number 0
Invoking: 'Firefox 27.0'
--
Mount the PND [SUCCESS]
Starting the application ( firefox.sh ) [ FAILED]
Restoring the frame buffer status [SUCCESS]
uMount the PND [SUCCESS]
$
EDIT2:Nevermind! After deleting the firefox folder in appdata, it works.

That reminds me of the funny revealing Shumway roadmap I read some time ago at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Shumway

This is milestone 1:

As a Metro Firefox user, I experience rich ads so that I don't have to see a bunch of empty boxes as I surf the Web without Adobe Flash player.

As a Firefox user, I have a more stable browsing experience because Firefox natively renders Flash ads, increasing my user satisfaction, usage, and likelihood to recommend.

...
While that is actually all the the mozilla foundation ever cared about, I'm not so sure that these are the expectations of the users on this board anxiously waiting for it to be included. And it doesn't yet run any of my (rather old and simple) test case apps and performance even on x86 is not good (I'd say slower than gnash which is significantly slower than Adobe's version).

I also was excited about that Shumway project.

It should be ready with version 27.

My experience is the same as yours.

Better not use it.
