Hi,

I remember that a year or two ago people were saying that the USB OTG port is used by devs with board to have an ethernet connection between Pandora and PC. Wireless doesn't always suffice (though they both work great). I was trying to do such connection, but no success.

I have a USB mini-B connector, and when I plug it to PC - dmesg reports nothing. Should I get mini-A ?

No. Mini A is for host mode. I'm guessing your pandora is in mass storage mode. With N900, the mode can be changed with "MAD developer" software, but I'm not sure how to do it on a pandora.

Isn't there a menu for USB mode in the settings?
