Kumaki - Sorry for not having anything constructive to add. I haven't played any of those games that are in question, but I'll ask around - good luck.

I'm in reasonably regular contact with Prometheus, and she's no intention of coming back unfortunately. She was a stellar moderator and well liked by all barring a few. Kept her head and posted with style. When it works it's a banner calling for the return of a well like and respected community member who no longer participates in the forums. Kind of pointless in my opinion, but that's neither here nor there. However since it doesn't work more often than not it's usually that massive error message in 8 languages, that effectively fills my entire screen before I can scroll past it.

That's a shame :-( even though the forum in general is a lot better than it used to be? Does she still use her pandora or has she moved on to other devices?I'm in reasonably regular contact with Prometheus, and she's no intention of coming back unfortunately. I know she was learning Scratch on the Raspberry Pi, but that's the last I heard (from March). I've mailed her and I'll see if she replies. That's a shame :-( even though the forum in general is a lot better than it used to be? I really wish she would reconsider I loved her input in all topics.
Well, it's a shame she's got me on ignore really. Ah well. I've solved her problem:
1. Run EasyRPG player without adding any data. It creates folders etc.
2. Quit the pickle launcher that appears.
3. Install the two zip files into the /media/SDCARD/pandora/appdata/easyrpg/data/rtp/2000 preserving the parent folders in the zips.
(note that one of the zips is self-contained, the other needs to be in a folder).
4. Install the font by unpacking it into each of the two folders you created
5. Run EasyRPG.
6. Navigate to the root, then into /media/SDCARD/pandora/appdata/easyrpg/data/rtp/2000/<game data folder>
7. Select the ".ldb" file
Play!
Have to admit that I really only followed the instructions on the repo. But there you go. Not sure you really need the folder structure mentioned tbh, but I thought it couldn't hurt.
D.
Well, no kidding. So then this problem is solved, isn't it?
If you are not happy with the quality of an alpha port, don't use it.
Plain and simple
