I recall a thread based on a similar concept for the Pandora - a female "avatar" of the Pandora. As far as I could tell, the way to make it appeal to this community was to make her very young-looking (5 or 6 years old, possibly no more than 8 years old), in very short/revealing clothing and have very large infantile eyes - that seemed to be very popular.
Here's the threads in case anyone wants to see:

Fortunately the surviving images don't fit your description but who knows what the dead ImageShack and whatnot links went to.

I love that I get a malicious site warning from my browser when I visit gp32x.de.

That's the one. I see from a quick skim of the thread that I wasn't the only one who found it amusing that the scene contained so many paedophiles :)

i dunno, i'm keeping the pi eyes for the time being.  it's not that i'm not listening, but it's the whole-hearted exemplification of my creative avatar, so you can take 'em out for your version ;) .

With ible's most recent set I prefer the top row and the 2 on the left of the bottom row.  There are a few things I am not fond of (boots still look out of place to me, some of the garments look like they should be covering a bit more, etc).  My favorite is the third one on the first row, although I like the "rougher" look of the others for some reason.  I wonder what it would like if the garment and footwear were different colors, maybe red/dark red, or white/off-white, etc.
i tend to agree re the roughness; there's a more raw feel to it, and the rest of the drawing is rough, so i might as well try to make the dress a bit rougher.

i'll try a few other colors for shoes sometime.

(thanks also to Haraldur for the feedback.)

faces, hands, and feet are incredibly difficult to draw. that's why i'm skipping by on most of those things ;) .

very minimal changes.  original versions on the far right of their pairs (or quadruplets).

what's the bbb code to make the image larger?
I like the top-left one, but without those boots. The sandals from the one directly to its right would be better.

Please keep the pi eyes, I didn't even notice the letter pi at first so they make pretty good distilled eyes. Much better than in your avatar, though that's probably also because there's much more context and you're not trying to force a face in a flame shape :)

I don't know the best way to make the image larger, I upload the image, attach it, see the post preview, get the link for the full image, and paste that link as a url to an image inside the post.

When you attach an image a button appears to add the attached file to the post, which adds the necessary BB code.

If you edit you post and go to the "more options" section it will probably show up.

In all honesty, I wouldn't use anything like this in my projects (should I eventually finish any of them). However, if you want some constructive critism regarding your picture...

The main thing is that the body doesn't line up. From the head and arms, it looks like she's facing to her right (our left), however, the breasts and hips are as if we are looking at her straight on. This has the knock on effect that her right leg looks dislocated, because it goes "in" before it reaches the hip.

Also, with regard to the foot placing. Her right foot should be futher backwards on the plate.

Finally, I'm not sure why her left foot is on tiptoes; but it's also pointing too far right for the angle she's standing at.

I've made a quick hack up to try and show my points

I'm no real artist, so take my feedback as you wish
Ah! This gives me an idea.  Can this be turned into pixels?  It may look good in pixelated mode as Pyra is, among other things, will be the king of retro emulation :)

I'm not sure Binky's style will adapt well to low-res pixels as to me it relies on its details in its charm. Perhaps Ible's designs would work better, I'm not sure.

I must say the figure is too... realistic. Would prefer a toony one instead.

May I suggest to show the Pyra off on imageboards like 4chan or 8chan and ask them for a maskot? Maybe 2chan if you want to ask the japanese guys.

What then happens may be not that safe for work but between the junk there may appear something good. It often happened.
