This saturday, huge protests against the pass and the government in France.
Again, it's the army which surrounds the protesters.
Two of the three Paris protests:

Ok seems like the second shot was a bit more powerful: I had fever yesterday evening and cold, wasn’t a pleasure..
at least today is better again, but I wasn’t far from having regrets on my decision..

So yesterday I got to sleep at 21 or something..

Netherlands silently extends the covid restrictions until 1 december 2021 (yup, just like a dangling carrot). The underlying temporal law to make these restrictions possible has been extended to 01-09-2023

Dutch Public trust that the government knows what it is doing went from >70% in april 2020 to around 30% now in august 2021. The biggest yellers is the entertainment sector (KNVB and Mojo), that feels that they've been bundled with disco's and that it's not the same as outside festivals (like Lowlands), camping events, circus, football, formula1 races, beach events are all evaluated as "the same".
The only solution the Dutch government offers is the same as France: The Pass (For now we have QR-codes). But they are scared of the backlash (like in France) so they hold off to implement it. But once these big boys just demand it, because they can't survive, then it's not pushed onto us by the gov but by commerce.

Weird. My first AZ shot gave me a sinus headache and muscle fatigue for a day, but the second dose gave me much less. Perhaps your first dose wasn't quite as powerful as your second.

My first shot was just a blue dot and a push sensitive arm, but the second shot brought me a bit more trouble… I don’t even had succes to eat my whole meal today..
usually I’m the one who had to eat the most.. ^^
Now I only have my arm push sensitive, so I hope it’s done ..

Everyone reacts different to the vaccine, at least when I had a reaction, I’m shure it will help ..

Now I need to get me a vaccination book from my doctor, I only have a spare cardboard sheet where the vaccination was dokumted and the Zertifikat QR Code

It sounds like most people find AZ side-effects worse on the first dose, with Pfizer/Moderna side-effects worse on the second dose.

Well, on Social Media, Twitter etc, i made some private PR for the Vaccine as i though its reaktions where more that easy as after the first shot,
i dont regrett it as i still believe it will help me survive a infektion some times in the future, but at weekend it was still not fun..

its also prevent me from my Private Pyra Playing Projekt (lots of GTA, Gameboy, other Games).. this weekend..

In Germany there is this 3G Law in Diskussion:
Geimpft (got vaccinatet), Getestet (got stick in nose), Genesen (got well allready), and some citys are even discussing a 2G: got Vaccinatet, or got well allready for when you want to go to events or restaurants..

Interesting. I imagine a surgeon having the nurse grab the phone from their pocket and making a photo with the patient. cheese!
Or you are robbing a bank and you need to send the picture, so you go outside, take a pic, then go back inside.
I imagine many pics taken and send while sitting on the toilet. Hey, 15 minutes, no second more.
Or a new service: walking with lots of realsize cardbox photo's, so if they get called, they make a selfie of the correct cardbox. I guess some faceswapping software would work too.

Looks like it's only for people returning to South Australia from another country and who decide to do at-home quarantine.
It's similar to what was/is in place in many countries where the police will visit you or call you to ensure you're staying home, except that they have an app for it.

Yeah, it's better than the proposed anklet brace, that thing that prison people on parole have on their foot. And better than you have to pay that expensive hotel, that smells of alcohol because of the constant cleaning. Just don't go on holidays, I guess...

yes, things taken out of context usually seem worse that they really are. There have been cases of people from overseas breaking quarantine. in North Queensland there was a woman who tried to kick in a hotel door trying to break quarantine. nothing we do is ideal but if enforcing quarantine saves 1 person from catching this and dying it will be worth it.

Yeah, stick it up your nose, all the way up, but NOT THAT FAR!
The DIY kits specify between 3 - 4cm but no more than 4cm. I measure out 3.9cm on a vernier calliper and hold the swab above that to measure it. By holding the swab with my fingers just within that position, I ensure I don’t push it further than that up my nose.

Biden is going to announce a new plan to combat the delta variant in about fifteen minutes.

I think some leaked details include mandatory vaccinations for all federal workers, mandatory vaccinations for hospitals receiving Medicare and Medicaid funds, and vaccinations or weekly testing for all businesses with over a hundred employees.

My therapist cancelled an appointment with me because his daughter tested positive for COVID-19. The kicker: He’s revealed to me previously that he hasn’t been vaccinated. Guess I should start looking for a new therapist?

It’s funny, he keeps like a dozen herbal sprays and CBD oil in his office, but he was still waiting for more information on the long term effects of the vaccines.

CBD is one of the things I hate the most. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.
Why, man? It’s good for what ails ya.

I’ve decided my therapist will survive COVID-19. According to him, garlic can get him through any illness. I’m not going to argue with a licensed therapist.
