Ah, yeah, that could do it. Multi-user is an issue for some applications.
You can easily reinstall the firmware from scratch, thus creating your own fresh user.
Download the latest firmware zip (technically there's also beta firmware you can also try, if you want to experiment with some untested features), extract it to the root of your SD card, and while you reboot your Pandora, hold the R trigger. The SD card has to be in the left SD slot. A pre-boot menu will pop up asking if you want to boot from SD1. That will reinstall the OS and begin the first boot wizard. First boot can take up to 10 minutes while it uncompresses and copies files to the internal storage. Once it is done, you'll be able to put in your own name and other information.
Hopefully this helps!
Wow, thanks for the info! This thing is great!!!
Edit 2: I ran into the same problem as earlier. This time it said "Mounting the PND failed. The app won't start. Please have a look at /tmp/pndrun_Quake3.out

hum that sound like a bad PND (failed download or something). Try redownloading the PND and redrop on your SDcard. Also doing a fdisk check on your SDcard might sound like a good idea.
If all that fail, post the complete /tmp/pndrun_<appname>.out here (I'm the one maintaining the pnd_run.sh script ;) thuss I somehow know how to read that log )

(edit: misleading speeling errors)

I generally get between 3 hours and 7 hours, but I run with maximum screen brightness and overclock to 1GHz permanently :)

If I'm playing MP3s, then it's about 6 or 7 hours. If I play a game, it's down to 3 quite easily. If I close the lid or enter low-power mode, the battery will be completely discharged in about 4 hours, so my Pandora spends most of its time attached to the mains :)

@Dunny is your battery puffy ? (bigger than it should) if so, get a new one 'cause your duration are weaks

Nope, that's one problem I'm glad I've never had! It's not too bad - I can get away with charging it every night if I'm away from the house with it during the day, but for those five-minute gaming sessions it's a pain having to wait (and wait) for it to start up, and having to shut it down again when I'm done. Low-power mode really sucks battery life down, so I have to completely shut down instead.
