hey bast, have you tried playing a vid clip that was encoded by a goood h.264 encoder like the one in nero recode 2.2?
i heard the app used in the engadget review is pure crap and doesn't generate true avc encoded clips or whatever, which explains the crappier than xvid compression ratio they got. it would be great if you can play the files generated from recode 2.2 since i hear you can get a 2 hour movie at higher than dvd resolution with the best settings to fit at around 800mb. psp resolution clips should take quite a bit less space.
yeah, i can't wait to test out the latest nero recode, but it'll have to wait till i upgrade my ancient pc
