It was the project formely known as "SteamBoy".
 
I will look. Was an off hand comment from ED that he had spoken with a rep from AMD about sourcing the next cpu from them. I'll have to search his post history.

Well, it also has an 5" screen, I wonder if they also use an rotator chip or have found an real landscape screen?

I would guess the Radeon GPU will do the rotation.

Keep in mind, the Pyra wants to disable the GPU at all if not needed. I doubt this game console wants to archive this goal neither with Linux nor with Windows running on it.
