I know MAME runs slow as death but plenty of software like Unity have 3DFX built in emulators for old hardware that seem to work fine I mean if someone decided to write an emulator specifically for Gauntlet Dark Legacy hardware maybe it would work?
I was wondering if it would be possible to emulate this type of hardware on the Pandora? I ask because Gauntlet Dark Legacy requires this and Mame from what I understand just won't work with GPU based emulators.
Emulating the PS2 is not that hard in terms of raw power needed, really you need a powerful GPU that is similar in power to a Geforce 6 or above. And possible a quad core CPU lol.
Why does everybody want a new Pandora already? Don't forget that it took like years for a GP32 successor and now we have an unofficial GP2X successor that can emulate consoles that the GP2X can only dream of doing. I would wait 5-6 years before we pick new hardware for Pandora 2 I expect the...
We make a thread that helps others who have just received their Pandora where to check for defects. Like a guide that tells you the most common defects and what to check. Because all these threads with people declaring their Pandora is defective just brings peoples spirits down.
Well that is cool but unless I can find a very small and cheap 1TB external HDD that works on the Pandora than size would be a big problem of each file.
Well bitrate is one of those things that annoys me, I mean from a Bluray I can't see one pixel in fast paced scenes but on DVDs sometimes it gets pixelated. Still I have done conversions where it gets extra pixelated and I'm trying to prevent that.
So I used to decrypt DVDs and convert TV episodes and movies for my PSP and I always used MP4 because it was basically the only format that worked well on the PSP. Since I will be getting a Pandora the options are far grander :P . I was wondering what is the best format for videos? Which one...
Um was it possible to access those modes without the adapter? And what adapter?
I see what you mean now but the sensors are crap from what I understand. So how can you use it for anything? Would it be possible to hack the power glove and make new sensors that could work on other consoles like...
Well I guess it is possible as long as the emulator in question can understand the sensor bars for the Power Glove. Unless you're just talking about the buttons than it should since Power Gloves can be operated in non motion mode on all NES's.
Big companies do all that stuff to increase profit. Honestly though out of the 3 major game console companies (3 only) I would say Sony gets my vote. They always seem to want to focus on their exclusive titles and are geared more for the retro and "hardcore" market (I will admit that Sony really...
What about using a Power Glove and mounting a Pandora to one some how? I could make this some type of cosplay costume for Comic Con and have tons of consoles all over me :P but only one has the power to emulate them all!
Honestly I would be in favor of a wrist especially if it looked even weirder than what people are already thinking of the idea :P . Would be amazing to walk around comic con or anywhere else crowded with a functional Pandora on me.
