So I ordered my classic unit ages ago and it was mostly a solid piece of tech; though I never had much luck running anything non emulator related as it would all eventually crash. I simply shrugged them off as my CC not being fast enough and I should just be happy with running emulators.

Anyway, it started acting funny when a screw was loose on the battery compartment and I went to tighten it. I apparently made it too tight as I can't loosen it now and what's worse, I had to stick a piece of cardboard on the back of the battery or it wouldn't push in far enough to be powered when the clip is closed. After I fixed that, I noticed it was acting odd. Even when I set it back to default speeds or OC it or anything, it acts and boots extremely slowly. It also won't let me boot into Mini Menu or Open Box from the standard desktop environment.

Any ideas?
