Simple Game Making App For Gp2x

Also, btw, SEUCK game editing is done completely on the handheld itself. It will be very intuitive, if you've used the original SEUCK on c64 or amiga/st then you'll know how this can work. Everything will be able to be edited from your GP32, and later the GP2X. It will allow all manner of...

Simple Game Making App For Gp2x

Well, Fenix scripting language will be on the GP2X within the next couple of months, and it is very powerful. It still requires some programming knowledge however, but there's no need to worry about setting up a dev environment as such. What you're requesting might be more along the lines of...

    Multi Disk Images In Frodo

Load the first disk as normal, then when you need to change disk images then attach the appropriate disk image. If a game doesn't load the first disk, that's an issue with Frodo not being compatible with the game or it's loader. Have you got 1541 emulation on? Some games won't work without it.

Python And Pygame Beta 1 Released

Maybe this would be a good thing to port to the GP32 as well? Just an idea.

I hate to point out the obvious but... Google would surely know ;)

    Gp32 Faults

Yup, I have a Blu+ and couldn't be happier. IMHO that thumbstick is really easy to control and I much prefer it over a d-pad. Go GP32! I love it! :)

    Lounge Console

Ok, the gamepark handhelds get away with emulation because they're not directly competiting with companies that hold the licenses for other purposes. If anyone created a home TV game console, marketed as an emulation direct to tv system to compete with those joysticks and such. They would get...

    Oooo, Ahhh,[game] Is Being Ported! I Don't Give A

Four pages of ranting replies to someone you regard as a troll? Why! WHY I say! Gawd. My 2c, you reckon ports of old games are pointless, but emulators are cool? Why I could play those games on real consoles! yadda yadda Silliness.

    The Competition

I think it's more likely that Gamepark are talking about the XGP being a PSP killer *in South Korea*. That makes some sense, otherwise it's just nonsense.

    Gp32 Replacement Stuff From Liksang

Awesome! In the lead up to the GP2X pre-order, they listed all the GP32 stuff as "out of stock". I though it was rather convenient ;) Hmmm... Another GP32... Very tempting, heheh edit: The Blu+ from liksang comes with a free RF wireless module!

    Best/notable C64 Games?

BTW, VICE 1.18 has been released, which now has an experimental feature... NET PLAY! You can now link up two people over the net, and play any two player c64 game! Awesome stuff :) It is experimental and I haven't had a chance to test it myself yet, download the latest VICE 1.18...

    Gp32 Replacement Stuff From Liksang

So GPH do own the rights to the Blu+, and they could manufacture more GP32s if they were that way inclined? Hmm.

    Gp32 Replacement Stuff From Liksang

That's odd, I've been told that GPH doesn't own the rights to produce GP32 stuff? Probably craigix could be right and this is stuff taken from returns and Lik-Sang are confused about who to attribute it to, it would be GamePark wouldn't it? It'd be great if more GP32s were produced though.

    Gp32 Replacement Stuff From Liksang

Cool, all we need now is for someone to start making an entire replacement GP32 ;)

    Should I Get One?

Hmm, at this time of night, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. Also my time has been pretty much occupied with some seriously disturbing everyday stuff  So, I'll leave this to the appropriate thread, or PM. Thanks.

    Makes Me Sad

Also a certain disk magazine whipped up in Fenix will work on both platforms ;) Although, I have put out a call for assistance in porting a really cool disk magazine engine to the GP32/GP2X, no takers yet. So yeah! Fenix! That will be cool ;) I hear that Chui will be releasing a new Fenix on...

    C64 Emualtion Question?

It could still happen on GP32 imho, with a lot of reeaaaallly optimised code. Anything's possible!
