    Daphne Laserdisc Emulator Planned!

Yes, point at Dragon's Lair and those type of laserdisc games and laugh. Have any of you nay sayers actually played the laserdisc shooters tho? Great visuals, and a bit of sci fi shootemup? If not, try them before judging. We're not talking about pointless remakes on consoles here, we're...

    Daphne Laserdisc Emulator Planned!

Why, the impetuousness of older folk! Never changes! Beat playin' pong I reckon, at least, although I spose pong seems to be fairly durn popular round these parts! hehe <runs off>

    Daphne Laserdisc Emulator Planned!

If you can't understand the appeal of laserdisc games, then most likely you weren't even born when they were the cutting edge of the arcade parlour. Man, we're not just talking about the excellent Don Bluth Studios Dragon's Lair and Space Ace here, there were some awesome "rail" shooters based...

    Playstation Worms On Gp2x?

Sony? Sony could probably buy South Korea if they really wanted to! :D

    Disgruntled And Unlucky

On the brighter side, I guess that saves some people the trouble of bricking their GP2X themselves!

    Playstation Worms On Gp2x?

Well, Rally Pop on the GP32 is similar to Worms, maybe it's a GP2X sequel? Also, Worms exists on the Megadrive, so you could even play it on the GP32! ;)

    The Ninja

I know, you could be the guy that offers to help out but can't actually do anything! :D Kidding! Joking! ;) Really would be great to see a project like this work, maybe one day.

    Handheld History!

I think he should scan that article! What? oh... Imho the GP32 still looks better than the rest of 'em! ;)

    The Recall Announcement From Gph

Every unit pre-ordered in South Korea?

    Psx Running On The Gp2x

Um, well I admit not knowing the details of what went down, but remember Bleem? Somehow I think that if Sony gets wind of a competing handheld emulating Playstation titles, things could get messy. I mean, promote GP2X as being able to emulate PSX would bring more people to GP2X, but potentially...

    Tv Cable?

Yup, that seems to make sense. What I really want to know though, is it true that currently you actually can't play movies at 720x480 using the TV-out, if you do have a cable. I'm pretty sure I read that this doesn't work, which I'm sure if people did have TV-Out cables would be quite an issue :P

    Im Done

Am I the only one who thinks the responses to a GP2X user that started this thread are just a bit nasty and unwarranted? This is no way to encourage someone to stay.

    Tv Cable?

My mistake, I think, it doesn't mention anything about tv-out on toyz 4 boys from my quick look anyway. I think you're right tho, apologies for my assumption.

    Tv Cable?

    That's not a TV-Out cable, that's an ext-port connector.
  15. G

    Tv Cable?

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the TV-Out video mode doesnt actually work as promised at the moment due to the software and the speed of SD card the unit is capable of using? Maybe this is why GPH haven't supplied the TV-Out cable yet... This is just...

    Gp32 Replacement Stuff From Liksang

SMC seem very hard to come by these days, most retailers don't stock them, they can be found in some online shops and on ebay. There's a thread around here somewhere with a list. I'm still using the 5 16Mb SMC that came with my GBAX unit, eheh. I really need to get a 128Mb SMC :P

    Gp32 Replacement Stuff From Liksang

If the ebay shop is actually GBAX still selling them, then go for that, they're in the UK and that's where I got my Blu+ from. On the other hand, Lik-Sang is selling the Blu+ and an older model of GP32, and the Blu+ comes with a wireless module. Both are reputable. Although Lik-Sang claimed to...

    Rip Gp32

Well, as I was rambling on to a mate who's active in the PSP scene last night, one of the many who were active on GP32 in the early days and then gave up, the GP32 is still a great buy and has really progressed over the years. When I told him that DrMD could get 50fps with zero frameskip at...

    Gta On Gp32

Yeah I know the guy doing the PD c64 version, it really is impressive, and there are two tables almost completed now. This is the c64 game I'm looking forward to in 2006. Not much chance that it will work in Frodo, however, due to the VIC tricks it uses ;) Also, there is an awesome Worms style...

Simple Game Making App For Gp2x

Well, it won't limit creativity in creating all kinds of shooters! ;) If it allowed gravity for a player for instance, you could make platform type shooters, so that's something, hehe. Anyway, it will be very powerful and just what some non-coding people will need to really have an outlet for...
