    GP32 Addition Speed

in this case, doing it line by line should be MUCH faster, because you can use memcpy() or somesuch to write out the same value to the whole horizontal line of pixels in one go because they are a continuous set of bytes in the frame buffer, then do the next line, rather than a separate function...

    Drmd Gp2x Version

i dunno if the gp2x'll get much cheaper, the gp32 didn't seem to. doesn't matter though, cos DrMD probably WILL get faster :) you guys  give reesy a break - its only the first release, I bet the code's only held together with blu-tack so far. the linux OS has nothing to do with it...

    Group Game Project

seriously aQwaBlaz3, start simple. gaaad, the number of unfinished overly-ambitious coding projects out there :o i'm as guilty as anyone of that  cos the 'fun stuff' is always more cutting edge! if you haven't already made (to reasonable completion) a slidey-tile puzzle for...

    Transport Tycoon Deluxe Help...

yep, i'm pretty sure the easiest way to get at the files is to install the game, anyway that's what I did and it worked. Doesn't matter if the game won't run in XP, though that would be a shame (I don't know, I'm on a 98/linux dual boot), as long as the installer works ok enough to unpack all...

    Gp2psx V0.10

tekken3? wow. I gotta see this. so um, newby question: how the goddam do I get a copy of my original ps1 games off the black CD (which is not readable in a normal CD-Rom drive. apparently) and onto my PC? or is this a touchy (ie illegal) subject? Vin

    Help With Emus And Games!

frodo must be on root? nope. mine's in /sd/emulators/c64 and works just fine. roms and programs can be anywhere. some programs require you to alter their launch-script so that it points at the dir where you put it, but thats the only change needed. in fact i've got no files at all, only...

    N64 Completely Impossible?

... dreamcast? while we're at it, why not gamecube? shouldn't be that hard, surely? :D

    N64 Completely Impossible?

a big problem is the 3d. have you tried running any of the existing N64 emus for PC, using software rendering only, no hardware acceleration? You'd need an absolutely kick-ass 3d software renderer engine for the gp2x the CPU power needed is just huge. maybe if it could be dipped in liquid...

    Was The Gp2x Worth It?

was it worth it !?!!? this is one amazing little machine. its only been out for about 10 seconds, and people are already releasing software for it so rapidly that I can't keep up with it all! On mine so far I'm already running: - C64 emulator running stuff like Uridium, Speedball2, Space...

    Open Ttd For Gp2x

hmmm yeah.. but you'd have to pretty much rewrite the whole game to do that, surely :(

    Open Ttd For Gp2x

true... unless you alternated between moving the pointer 1 pixel, then scrolling the viewport one pixel. or something. i admit it doesn't sound fantastic  who needs alternate pixels anyway? :P

    Open Ttd For Gp2x

i remember the hours I used to spend on this game. just loaded it up last night onto my gp2x. fan-blimmin-tastic! the screen resolution thing is a complete pain though. How about this: have a scrolling 320x240 'viewport' that moves when the mouse pointer moves, so that when the pointer is...
