Still Need Help With Dumping Neo Geo Roms ?

I got Mark of the Wolves and SNK vs Capcom and they dumped OK and work great. Haven't tried Strikers 1945 or Metal Slug 3. I'm thinking that it has to do with the rom file. Whether it is good or bad.

    Gamepark.com Is Dead

I'm thinking that the site title had nothing to do with the XGP. It was named this durring the GP32 days before there was any GP2X or hopes of a XGP. Very sad ending for a few of the people that gave us the GP32.

    Gamepark Files Bankruptcy

I guess that settles it. No XGP. Very sad for those who were waitiing and expecting one of those systems. :( edit: Really a sad end for those who brought us the GP32. Well for part of them at least. The rest of the group is at GamePark Holdings.

    Best Free Antivirus/firewall?

My daughter uses Windows and it seemed like a total disaster to Windows all the time she used Norton. She has been using AVG free for a while now and it seems great. Glad to hear this.

    Linux

Hmm... I've tried over 30 different distros. They all seem to have a bit of different way of seeing or detecting things. I have an IBM thinkpad, KDS Valiant laptop and my main rig has a FIC motherboard with an Athlon 2.4 gig CPU, Gforce Nvidia video card. Linux has no problem seeing those...

If you download an RPM program, make sure it is made for your version of SuSE. You can run into a program that need certain dependancies. You will run into what has been termed as "dependancy hell" by the linux community. Just what exactly is it that you need or want to install?

A debian distro is a lot easier to deal with when installing programs. I would love to run a debian distro, but my home made computer will not boot some debian distros. I have tried others that will boot, but they will not recoginize all my hardware. I know that getting under the hood, so to...

Look in your start menu for "system." When you put your cursor there a menu should pop up. Move your cursor down until it is on "Control Center (YaST)." that is the program that you want to open. It will prompt you for your "root password" once you click on this.

I've been using SuSE for around six years. there are a lot of programs on the install disc, or should be. If you have Yast opened up, just click on software management. Questions About Snes, Nes And Megadrive Emulation

If you are going to purchase a GP32, I would recommend the GP32 BLU which is the back lit version. If you are going to spend over $100.00 USD, I would highly recommend the GP2X. I think you would be more satisfied with it. IMHO.

Question About The Pc Engine/turbografx 16 Emulator

I agree with you DaveC. It is one of those little jewels of retro gaming that seems to go unnoticed at times. :( It is my favorite retro gaming system. There is nothing like a Turbo Grafx shooter. My Turbo Duo is setting right here beside me hooked up with Soldier Blade ready to play.
