Looks nice! Us folks on the benheck forums have been sketching out plans for an Ion based MID, we can get it to be quite a bit smaller than that.

    Smartq 5 Mid

People who buy the ipod touch do not buy it for the games. The millions sold pre-app store prove this. If they happen to get games, great. If you actually want games, you get REAL gaming device. Maybe there is some overlap, but for the VAST majority of the market, that is the case. And the...

    Smartq 5 Mid

Oh cool, its a troll with no intelligence. How quaint. ;) For your information, it runs anything in the ARM Ubuntu repository, with only... a few thousand applications or so, and a full time paid team porting stuff over, not to mention that it has an SDK available in Chinese (The english one...

Wanted To Buy: Gp2x With Busted Screen.

As the title says, I need one. Got a 5" screen and controls with new case all done up, but I do not want to use my main GP2X for this, and I killed my spare. Anybody have one? Just a plain motherboard would work as well.

    Usb Otg Adapters

Micro is stupid. If you want proper OTG on mini, though, you need to tie pin 5 to ground. Had to do so for my N800 to switch modes, turns out a lot of other OTG devices need that to work. :(

    Anyone Else Here Losing Interest?

Better things are coming, at lower prices. If a handheld linux device with PSX comes out with a price point under $200, I am going to buy it. And there are several devices that are going to be released within 2-3 months that meet those standards, so the Pandora had better hurry for my money...

    Smartq 5 Mid

Double post, I know. I just got off AIM with a SmartQ rep, and he says: 1. It will indeed have a stylus that works with capacitive screen 2. The linux environment is LXDE (Search on youtube for some videos of it) 3. The price is indeed 899 Yuan, but that is the China store price...

    Smartq 5 Mid

SmartQ makes a PMP called that is pretty much that thing, but without the Wifi, bluetooth, USB host, and all that software. I imagine that because they have all production set up for it, and likely a lot of the same parts, they can make them both at the same time for pretty cheap. The easier...

No keyboard, but it has USB host. Capacitive is scratch resistant, and this thing has a capacitive stylus. Yep, like an iPhone. :D

Modding skillz. ;) It is far within my abilities to make a custom wing grip attachment with a USB controller inside, and even with that, it will be smaller than a PSP. :D
