Cheep Chinese Pmp What Did It Do Or Not Do

Which one in particular? Any? I have bought 3 or 4 over the years, and used many, many more. They, without fail, have low quality LCD screens, glitchy firmware that lags, the music interface is generally absolutely terrible, video is massively hit or miss. Plus, they are never going to get a...

Disappointed In Nintendo Dsi Ll Games

What the hell are you on about? For "Retro Style" gaming, the DS has one of the best libraries around, especially compared to the PSP. :-/ Not only do you have some great straight ports (Like Chrono Trigger DS), you also have TONS of great 2d platformers, shoot'm'ups, and beat'm'ups!

Ipad: What Do People Here Think Of It?

Evolutionary, not Revolutionary. That is what I think of it.

    Appstore.. Really?

I agree with the idea. The Nokia internet tablets had a "Garage", I always liked that.

Has Sony Won The War Against Psp Piracy?

No. Recovery mode is still in place, no matter what the hell they do, hackers still have full access. Maybe on new PSPs, but PSP 2000 and 1000? Patch proof, till the end of the PSP days.

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

I will make a thread to update when my next update hits, like I said, could be a month or two. A guide is not likely, though. Anybody with the needed skill to build something like this and have it turn out okay are not going to need a step by step guide, just a general overview, if that. I...

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

I wrote lots of words, read them. ;) Yes, the controls are wired to an internal hub, then to the gamepad, then to the controls I am embedding in the faceplate. This thing will be for sale after I have a few weeks to play with it and stress test it after it is finished (Probably late...

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

Eh, Via is interesting, but still not good for portables. A small Ion based mobo could be made, but so far they are only available in nettops that insist on an impossible use square motherboard. :( And what would you say if I told you the hardware for this cost me under $150 shipped, brand...

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

Dead wrong there. ;) I started work on a project like this, but got sidetracked by the gamecube portable I am building. There are tons and tons of MIDs out there with Atom based X86 motherboards that are very small. In fact, if I did not have to worry about batteries, a screen, controls, etc...

Using A Psp Battery In Gp2X

The GP2X puts out digital RGB, converting analog RGB to digital would be a massive waste. The main reason digital RGB interfaces are used for most consumer electronics are that they are very, very cheap. Open2X has made a lot of progress since then, it was an alpha release back at that time...
