@Prometheus: What is the Ambassador program? Can those games be bought seperately? where are they stored on the 3DS, does it have internal memory?
I will be nice to legitimatly play GBA games on it (as opposed to flash cart - but out of interest will an R4 work with it...doubtfull)
...and I...
I bought Elemental. It's _okay_ - I've listened to it A LOT but i'm sorry it's no 'The Hurting'. Thing it it's got me heavily into listening to TFF! I got 'Songs' coming next!
Oohh sounds exciting. My (sorry my son's) copy is in the post!
I'm half-tempted to buy myself a 3DS, so I can race with my son (due to probably having to return what I hoped would be my christmas toy...)
I reckon the best Bubble Bobble inspired game is Parasol Stars. I just love the bonus system and the constant stream of colourful fruit and bonuses you pick up. Never completed it...
Agreed. The Pandora is certainly a fantastic device, truly unique. It's just a terrible, crying shame that the project has been plagued with so many problems!
Ah well, as long has everyone stays on-board hopefully it can all come good in the end and we can all be here to enjoy Pandora 2 some...
There are a lot of confused people in the Pandora world it seems. Perhaps the awesomeness of Pandora is too much for peoples minds to handle and it trips them out or something?
Fair do's I suppose Skeezix. I guess I live in the dark ages when an entire game could fit into 1.44Meg :-)
EDIT: But still, I've heard some ace 'chiptune' sounding stuff done using octamed - and that _is_ a mod and sounds great too. Maybe I just don't know what I'm on about! Ignore me...most...
Out of interest, what format does your finished product come in - mp3/ogg? It would make more from the point of a game developer to have in a mod (or similar format) due to size of the final package. Nobody likes a big package...well some people do I suppose.
I feel for you brother. Sounds like the battery is faulty. Then again, I guess it could also be the charging circuit...I would attempt to email your supplier...or find somebody else with a Pandora and try your battery in their device and vica-versa.
If you passing data every frame, it's easy. The only things you would have to pass would be the users input, so I guess fire-button/left/right/thrust/missile(?)
These could bitmasked into a single byte. So very little data is passed. BUT THIS ISN'T THE PROBLEM. The problem is that the frame...
Ah, now things are becoming clearer. So the original did not have destructable backgrounds then. Still, surely a tricky problem making it two-player over the internet.
