Street Fighter Genesis Punch/kick Toggle Fix?

Another cool solution, could be to have pressing R down register a start-button-push - and then also have it register a start-button-push when releasing R... That way you would simply have to hold down R when wanting to use kicks :) Edit: Whoops... Typical! This is a GP2x-topic... Thought...

Is The Tv-out Only For Video-mirror?

I was wondering if anybody who know anything about the GP2x, knows if the TV-ouy ONLY is able to mirror what you already see on the GP2x's screen.... or if it is actually possible to display something completely different on the TV than what's shown on the GP's display. The question came up...

    Mortal Kombat Ii And Blocking

Oh yeah - Thare WAS something about 2 button support in game-options... Didn't know where to get one of these 2-button joysticks at the time though. I do however both own an Amiga CD32 and a Mega Drive, so perhaps I should explore :-) Also recall that blocking on the Amiga was *just* holding the...

    Mortal Kombat Ii And Blocking

yeah... I know... strange poll... Been playing the Mega Drive version of MK2 lately, since it's one of the few fighting games that fits the Gp32's button layout. Almost anyway... The whole blocking-button concept annoys me, since I seem to be unable to use it. I would have prefered the...

Best/most-notable Amiga Game.. Bring It :)

I think all of these have been mentioned all-ready, but I feel the need to add my two cents anyway. Whenever I see one of these listing, I focus on games that are unique for that particular system... or If it's clearly the best port that exist on that system. anyway.... Nuclear War I started...

    Name The Best/most-notable Genesis/megadrive Games

I just discovered this yesterday and played it all of my ~3 hours in the train to and from work.... Wonderboy 6 (monsterworld 4 i think) is truely a notable game for Genesis. It's a japanese release, but it can easily be translated through patching. It's not as fast-paced as the other Wonderboy...

Ot: Quick Review Of The Stelladapter (joy->usb)

Never seen one of these, perhaps I would have bought one... But I did rip apart a cheap 2 button PC-gamepad and solder the connections from an old "The Arcade" joystick on to it :) Since I was using my PC a lot for Amiga emulation this made sense... It's not USB, but it works.

    Sms Games

Funny thing about Sega Master System - it's one of those system I would never have bothered with had it not been for the GP32. For me this exploration of "other" systems has been a great part of the fun of having a GP32. I would probably never have "discovered" Master System, PC-Engine, Atari...

    Best Videogame Soundtracks

I completely agree that the soundtrack of games are VERY important for the entire game experience. I've found that most "good" games from my childhood has been totally distorted by the fact that the music was so captivating and mood-setting, that the gameplay apparently didn't have anything to...

    New Emulator Features....

Well I actually just meant that the autoload function *when applied* would be better if it loaded one particular save-state - instead of just the latest save-state. (my opinion) It is... but it doesn't make it a BAD idea B) It's not like I'm demanding anything... just suggesting ;) DrMD IS...

    New Emulator Features....

If we're still allowed to post regarding the initial topic, I would like to have a go :P While using my GP32 in the train pretty much every day, I've been thinking that some sort of auto-loading savestate would be a cool feature for several emulators. The main purpose of this would be: 1...

Am I The Only Person Who Thinks The Gp2x

I was wondering why people actually were begging for more RAM than 32 Mb. What are you actually going to do with all that memory? The GP32 seemed to get alot out of it's 8 Mb. The only apparent issue seemed to be few larger roms for snes and GBA - and I would figure that 32mb pretty much covers...

    Whats Under/beside Your Tv?

I've got following hooked up to my TV: Kiss DVD-player X-box Dreamcast Amiga CD 32 Haven't got my PS2 hooked up because it's broken :( I haven't got my Mega Drive hooked up because I only have 1 measly game for it.... and because the X-box pretty much emulates it perfectly B) Basicly I'm...

    Import Taxes To Sweden?

You only pay VAT once within EU, so you pay the VAT of the country you buy from. If I recall correctly it's something like 17,5 % in UK (gbax.com). But as mentioned you can get it cheaper if it's marked as a gift and bought outside of EU, but I don't know how this works. I've tried buying...

    Scared Or Uninterested

Since my last post (which was somewhat critical) I've registred on the site and contributed to it - I guess the only thing I needed to get straight, was that the information of previous lists didn't get "lost". The thing about the checkmark idea is actually nice, since it would make it alot...

Why Machines Like The Gp32 & Gp2x Are Imporant

Although he does have a valid point, there truely is no going back now... There's a huge difference in the simple games, where the only difference between levels are increase in enemy amout, speed or attack pattern and the standard 15 hours games of today. Checkpoint really have no point in...

    Scared Or Uninterested

I've actually tried using the list, but found it a bit confusing.... Only because I'm not entirely sure why the list starts from scratch everytime a new version of an emulator is released - Is it really common that games that worked in previous versions stop working in the latest? Perhaps one...

    Music Made With Gp32

Well - It's not really like you needed to justify it. It's something that's been on quite a few peoples wishlist for a while :P (including my own) As mentioned it was purely my thoughts upon the GP32 as a "live" device and otherwise providing unique sound for compositions.... But I guess you...

    Music Made With Gp32

The project really sounds interesting. Love the EP by the way... I've just gotten in to micro music this last year, and the genre has really grown on me. The interest started with me following a link from this board (in another tracker discussion I think) to FirestARTer's homepage - from that...
