Thanks

The spider game where you get a "free" xbox 360 is better than the games on the xbox 360

I was thinking og getting one assuming my crappy laptop wont be able tp handle oblivion, and right now Im freaking dying to give that game a shot. Im also a little curious regarding the online service, and if I get one I can try it out and see if I like online play. Both those reasons combined with the shiny new device syndrome as skysnapper pointed out are egging me on to buy one.
Ill let a few more votes go through and see if oblivion runs before I start to think about it really seriously.
thanks guys, I value your opinions
Im not just buying it cuz it's shiny: I want oblivion, DoA 4, and the online play.darkman posted on Apr 19 2006 at 02:47 PM said:I just voted no. The reason being that, as with any game system, wait until you see the game that says, "I must have that game to play!" written all over it. Example, I did not go out and buy the PS2 when it first hit the shelves. When FF10 came out, I ran to the store. Don't buy a game system because it is "nice and shiny." In the long run it is the games that will make you happy, not the hardware. Eye candy lasts until the game play begins. Wait until there are enough games that catches your interest that would justify the purchase. In the meantime you would probably enjoy the computer upgrade a whole lot more.
