    Unity Game Engine

It would be nice to get it to run in our native system, though, without having to boot into another OS. Not sure how much hacking that requires? Can we just run the Android stuff in our normal OS and run Android apps together with other stuff? I'd guess probably not as Android uses a modified...

Gdc 2010 Blog : The Sequel

Oh yeah, I forgot that Palm is also there... If you see Chuq Von Rospach, tell him to hand out some Pres to developers at the IGF! ;)

Might Get An N900 - Worth The Cash?

I've been using the Pre for half a year. In day to day usage, comfortable multitasking is a huge difference. Same is true for the physical keyboard, it's so much better than a touchscreen keyboard. Regarding internals, the Pre offers pretty much the same as the 3GS but that's a big update to the...

    Zii

Any news about this? How close to market is it? What has the development experience been like? Does it have magic performance and if so, do we know the kind of magic used?

    Uplink

Introversion is independent precisely for the reason that they retain all rights to their games. The problem about getting Darwinia (& Multiwinia) onto the Pandora would most likely not be licensing but making it run acceptably without spending any money on development. Making it run well on the...

Gdc 2010 Blog : The Sequel

Mirror's Edge 2 confirmation, please? Also, I'd like to hear something more concrete about Portal 2's coop mode... Other than that, I'm pretty much only interested in the IGF. That's where most of the good games come from.

Might Get An N900 - Worth The Cash?

Consider the Palm Pre. It's a bit cheaper, has an amazing UI (multitasking, multitouch gestures) but is still a pretty open standard Linux system. The screen is smaller but if you are already getting a Pandora, it's the perfect companion, IMO. There is quite a bit of homebrew development going...

    Sony Planning Psp/phone Crossover?

Great big fail. Sony tends to mess up when trying to copy success. (In fact, everyone does.) A Sony iPhone and Sony iPad will probably be one-off devices nobody cares about. Also, I somehow doubt they will remember to put good controls on the phone and the pad... Well, let's see.

    Ben Nanonote Now On Sale

You're wrong. Web browsing with a capacitive multitouch screen works very well on Pre and iPhone. With good eyes, I imagine the N900 browser even works without much zooming and horizontal scrolling although I haven't tried it, yet. Sure, you can do gaming on a 48*32 Game King, and it's actually...

    N900 Question

I think that's exactly what we should do: Make libpnd and other standard Pandora gaming libraries run on as many sister devices as possible. N900, AI Touchbook, Palm Pre... It would be great if it could evolve into a somewhat standardized handheld Linux gaming platform.

    Flash Related Question

Nokia paying for gettin it early (or at all) doesn't mean that they own any copyrights to it. I have no idea but I think it's unlikely that Nokia had much to do with devlopment of the ARM plugin other than assisting. The copyright is very probably still with Adobe. That still means we can't...

    F##k Nintendo

I hope you bought Ace Attorney Investigations? I'm about halfway through the fifth case already. B) And to all Australians, do something about it: http://www.pirateparty.org.au/

That's awesome! :D How do you load games onto this thing?

    F##k Nintendo

Pretty much none, because I have tried each game before I bought it on my Super Card. Still bought about 40 games, most of which I would never have known about without piracy. I'm glad I still live in a somewhat free country. What the fuck is up with Australia lately?

    Pangs Of Guilt

The N900 would have been my second choice. In the end I decided against it. It's priced higher, I don't really need the high res screen because I'll have one on my Pandora and I am absolutely in love with the way the Pre does multi tasking etc. The N900 has quite a few more advantages, though...

    Closed Source Ports

Here is another one for the list (probably mentioned somewhere in those 19 pages already, though): http://www.planetmule.com/ Looks port-friendly and it's free, although as far as I can tell not open source.

    Pangs Of Guilt

I had to make the same decision half a year ago and I also chose the Pre. It's simply a brillant mobile communication device and does everything the Pandora doesn't. Of course, in Germany we are lucky that we can buy it without any carrier binding. For 409 € you can join in on the fun, that is...

    Unity Game Engine

It's on the iPhone so it might not be that difficult to make it run on the Pandora as well. Still, for it to be worth the effort, we have to sell a lot more devices first.

    New Scifi Show: Frontier Guard

The episodes are only 10 minutes each so you should be able to squeeze them into your timetable rather easily. ;) Because the episodes are rather short they actually manage to put out one a week, though, which is pretty impressive, considering they are also working on their Star Trek fan shows...
