Wow Anyone Saw This??????

Hahotech has been making the FLU's for the GP32 all along. I hope they release this, I have a FLU already, but this light looks like it may be more powerful. I would buy it.

I see now :D

So does this mean people with Standard GP32's can convert them to use that or something???

that was my initial thought, and I would probably use this if released, I just would need someone to install it for me, i don't feel comfortable with it, especially since it looks like you have to replace screen and all.

ok, calm the hell down!!! this isn't for sale yet, see at the bottom of the picture it just says "*applied for patent" that means that they might have 1 or 2 PROTOTYPES this is just a concept (the pictures that is) and since it says paten't applied i would assume that they will be producing it, cuz patents aren't cheap.

what it is:
remember the crappy halo light for the gba? that is what this is basically judging from the diagrams... my guess is that rou remove the old screen cover and the glass and put their new one with the light guid on the new glass and plugh that thingie into the extension port and BAM frontlight!!

so calm the hell down

btw i guess the price will be kinda high
perhaps more expensive then the difference between non-flu & flu
(otherwise everyone who buys a new gp will be buy the non-flu with the ext light, cheaper)

For the guys who already got a non-flu its B)

Nah I dont think so.. I think it Will Be quite cheap Non Flu + there Front lit light = Cheaper than FLU (I think it will be)....

you gotta remember, Gamepark and this company are both different (YES I know that company makes the FLU Screens for Gamepark, but it doesnt make them the same company)......... The cheaper they make the EXT Kit thing the more they will sell...

Ifthe non FLU is 150 and the FLU is 200 they'd probably get the price around 50- 55 just to make it a viable option. For people who already have a non FLU and want one it shouldnt be such a hard hit to the wallet, at the same time they still want people to buy the regular FLUs.

GP32 FLU = GP32 + peice of glass and LEDs

GP32 and FLU add on = GP32 + peice of glass and LEDs and connector and screen surround and casing for extension to port, etc

The add on will cost more to produce. Plus the fact HAHO Tech wont want to lose there existing contract with Game Park there is no reason for them to make it cheaper.

Also I don't know about Korea, but in the UK patents are not too exspensive and many are taken out during the course of development. It only means they belive that their development time so far is worth protecting and doesn't indicate it will be released.

Don't get so excited ;)

I'm guessing the connector thing is that plugs into the ext port is to power the light. That one you'll prolly only have to remove the screen cover and replace it with the product. Similar to the HALO light for GBA.

Someone mentioned in another post that Craig has added a 'back light' link under extras, on his UK support site.

maybe he does know something already?
