I was browsing insertcredit.com and came across this:

Another handheld has entered the fray! Recently formed Tiger Telematics(no relation to Game.com makers Tiger Electronics) has announced that they will be releasing a system called the Gametrack, based on the Windows CE operating system. It will have a camera, bluetooth, 3D Mophun gaming (based on synergenix technology, a company they recently acquired), MP3, MPEG-4 video, and GPS. Oddly, there's also a feature that allows parents to track their child through the whereabouts of the device, and the GPS. Thanks to Windows for Devices for the news, and check out some really nice shots of the system there as well.

Anybody else heard about this system?

almost sounds too good to be true....except for the parent thing! ;) :D

Hmmm... I'm not going to think of it as another Zodiac until I see the tech sheet. But it does have MMC support, and it does look a LOT nicer than much of the competition at the moment. I wonder if it'll have an open SDK?

It looks way to expensive for children and teenagers. Hey, If you look close, you can see that they insert a 256 mb smc!!!!

p.s. look what I found: The trend of the GP32 has caught on quick. Not to be confused with Tiger "Game.Com" Electronics, Tiger Telematics's has developed a new mobile gaming system. This handheld has some interesting features including a built in digital camera, GPS tracking and much more. Not bad.

The screen size in the illustration looks disappointingly small. I thought larger screens were catching on! :(

Looks to Big and Bulky to me from the picture.... And yea, the screen looks too small

cant wait for virtualboy 2 :D

but itll have to look like normal sunglasses.

Wonder if that GPS tracking could come in for other things, such as locating other players in your area, etc?

I don't care about any advanced feature until I see good games. And by that I don't mean bloody Tomb Raider or some lame oragami looking 3D sports game.

And that parental thing really ticks me off. Who exactly is the market here? Very rich kids who worry that their parents don't know where they are enough?

Ugh. That's going to take a lot of kick-ass-ness to get over.

Remember that a big part of gpr32 users have taked it for the "open source approach".
Tiger wants to use Windows CE on that handheld, so I can suppose that they don't want to make a open console.
For example what type of memory it use? I will not shocked if it will use a proprietary cartdrige.
