Games For Dosbox - What Games Do You Want?

OOH! Just thought of some more. The earlier Tex Murphy games. I just downloaded the whole series, and though the later ones are probably too much to ask, the first ones should be ok, right?

ok - thanks for the suggestions. i am working on xenon 2 (which is the most advanced we could probably get by now) which is working fine atm with ~15fps and its original sound.

gonna release soon :) bio menace is my next try, followed by one must fall (which will not work full-speed, but i like the music^^)

:)

here's a vid of omf^^

X-Com
Probably some of these aren't possible though :)

I don't think X-Com will be possible on dosbox, but the Amiga version runs (kinda, slowly).

Pinball Dreams (woooot!!)
Keen, of course
Outrun
The incredible machine

The Genesis and PC Engine versions of Outrun are considerably better than the DOS version. I also believe there is a port of pinball dreams for snes, though I haven't compared the two.

There's a civ game on the SNES, but I don't know how it compares to Civ I (I started with CIV II).

Only one, the best ever
Heroes of might and magic 2

isn't that a Windows game? And, that's newer than Wing Commander 3! :)

it is a great game, but VERY doubtful...

Mebbe HoMM 2 is Windows, but HoMM is a good ole dos game... it was too slow on my 386 though, so I'm doubtful it'd work at a good rate on DosBox.

In any event, there's a pretty darn good GBC version of HoMM2 which works very nicely on Gnuboy indeed. Doesn't have absolutely everything, and it might be missing the wonderful "random map" feature of HoMM2, but it's still got a lot of play time in it!

Oh, and nobody's mentioned Worms yet!
