EDIT: Never mind, everything has been said before I ended the message. :) Amazing how many replies can commence in such a short time.

C'mon people, relax, it's the hot weather  , Jimmy, critical is doing a good job, it is taking time because it needs to take time evidently.
Someone with more time, dedication and skill could do a lot more with it, and faster. I'm just the default option.

I've done most of the UI for the button remapping now (wrote it last week), and need a free evening to put everything together. That'll be whenever.

Bump.

No reason.

Oh, apart from 0.6.0 is now out (see edited first post).

Chui's new FAME C core is working well, as is squidge's mmu hack. The sound quality now is just so much better, and games are much more enjoyable (for me, anyway).

I can't thank Chui enough for his latest exploits - if any of you lot are feeling generous, perhaps you could paypal him something. His paypal button is at the top of his website here: http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/index.html

As Chui said before, there was a problem with the execution of the new FAME C core when it was compiled with GCC 4. I've linked against the object file he sent me that was compiled with an earlier version. The source archive contains the object file and the last source I was sent.

Chui - THANKS :)

Note that I haven't merged in some of the changes I made for minor things like EHB support - I'll get around to that soon.

When you try to overclock it crashes as if the batteries are low but its not just me as someone else says it happens to them in the other thread too. still great tho :D

I was also wondering if i'm the only one experiencing faint wavy lines during some games? I tried playing around with the LCD timings but didn't help. This is the only piece of software that has these lines. The upside is that with this release a lot of games are working really fast, can't wait for save states and mappable keys!

I have it too. I mentioned it awhile back because I thought the LCD timings were changed by the emu. The author said they weren't changed so I don't know why they are there.

Just been trying one game so far.. can`t get it to play.

Kick off 2 loads but when you press a button to goto the menu the thing freezes and you have to off/on the gp2x..
Tried all the cpu bias settings...
any ideas?
Oh it was working in .051
Might be me being silly..
Great work indeed

I used Kick Off 2 - Return To Europe from TOSEC. I had emu bias set to full CPU, and sound ON.

BTW, 0.6.1 is out now, without the crashing on overclock select. It was a stupid bug from my merging.

critical, chui:
do you know what is now the main bottleneck?

i would think that emulating the custom chips would be more demanding than the 68k.

btw, does your emulator also do aga?
