No offense sony, but it fits your stereotype very well.

Most sony fanboys want the most powerful machine on the market, even if it is lacking in some areas. So that is your main interest in the XGP?

:) Isn't GP2x the strongest machine on the market?

(no I don't want to start flaming war)

Wipeout would have been fine with 4:3 too ;)

Yes they would, after all, all the WipeOuts before the PSP version used 4:3.

The OQO should be stronger... :p

Come on, guys just try to be a little tolerant. Not everything that says "Sony" on it is crap. I've watched this guy for a while now and he seems to be quite ok.

Heh, they'll be disappointed with the PS3 then. Although no doubt they'll exclaim that the Cell has a higher peak theoretical performance than the 3 general purpose cores in the XBox 360. Ye, those SPEs without cache or direct memory access are really useful... GPU is more powerful tho, I'll give it that.

Why not? There is nothing that speaks against that. After all, we haven't seen any game running on PS3 hardware, yet. Besides, who cares about graphics? At least the Xbox 360 has got some interesting games. Not the disc ones, I'm only talking about the Live Arcade.

mine too, with her new optical block :p

anyway i agree with rabbits with hats, the GPX is the reason why the GP2X exists, gph was created by some GP32 devs because gamepark took a wrong "psp-like" way with it's GPX, so it's quite normal that all peoples who love their GP2X don't believe much in the GPX, at least not more than in the gizmondo ! :p

You do realize whats going on here. Some little "ahhm" has joined this forum for the sole purpose of ticking people off and wasting time. So how bout we just ignore his posts from now on unless they are relervant to the gp2x.

the XGP will be a flop, im pretty sure of that, its a shame that a new contender cant enter the market and make a stand, but its to be expected, people are sheep, and go with what their friends are getting, and what the latest trend is, and because of that, developers know developing games for some unknown new console wont make money, and thus there will be no decent games for the thing, which is even more reason for people not to buy one.

no kid wants to get one of these and go into school the next day, everyone is talking about the latest PSP/DS game they got and how cool it is and what level they're stuck on, and poor little Dave with his XGP tries to talk about his games but gets blanked and ignored by friends cause they dont care!

Kids can be soooo cruel

Oh yes, I also think that the people behind the Zodiac, the Gizmondo, the Ngage are just totally naive. They don't have a plan, they think they can go into this Nintendo dominated handheld market and win a gazillion of customers to turn their handheld into a cashcow...

The XGP is just a disgrace, I don't like it's concept nor it's design and afaik it won't even have more power under the hood than the gp2x anyway.
