The latest firmware has been released 1.10 and it looks like there is an aditional program for TV out. Ill do a translation on the test in a moment.

And does it work now with all SD cards? Even with them which didn't work with previous firmware

is the language of the new firmware English or Korean?

I don't think it really matters, it's not the firmware that's in a particular language, it's the skin.

Are you sure about that? Anyway, I guess the firmware update procedure would delete a preinstalled skin.

It seems to me the the TV-Out is only for the movie player i.e. no menu or games on TV...

Also, the firmware update will be done at boot time (i.e. it will work on a random subset of SD).

:(

Whats been added is of no consequence untill they create a more reliable method of installation.

This is annoying for you. I could imagine that they implemented a new firmware update procedure in the new firmware. At least the better sd card support will bring improvements. Unfortunately, this helps only for future firmware updates. Plus: it would mean that those who are not able to update are bound to stick to the old firmwares.

From what I've understood, some of the independent devs are confident that it'll soon be possible to do firmware updates by running a program once the GP2X has booted, rather than by depending on the crap GPH SD code. That's what I'm waiting for anyway! (Not that I seem to have many options...)

If someone posts the firmware I will be the first to try it.
I hate this damn interlaced screen on 1.01....

you and me both. where is this firmware, im ready to try it if someone gives a linky.

Try as I might to figure out how to log in I could not get past the language barrier myself. Hopefully some kind korean speaking person can post an alternate link. It looks like 2GB cards may be readable now (if my deciphering is correct but dont quote me on it.)
