Ds Buying

And apparently the secret sega online game for DS is supposed to be Phantasy Star Online. Now if that is true then that is fucking sweet.

all i can say is wow, i hope it's as fun as the dreamcast version, and i hope you don't have to pay monthly for it. Can you tell us though where you heard this?

EDIT: whoops accident double post.

Hate to bang on about it, but I've st read that Konami are bringing winning eleven to the DS, and it's planned to be ONLINE!

I cant remember where i heard this. but nothings official but if it is released then hell yes. DS online will be amazing. as long as we dont have to pay (i think we didnt have to for the european dreamcast version) then it would be amazing. Hopefully the 2 final fantasy games coming out on ds will be online and good.

the DS is fantastic on paper, its just actually getting the games and product in hand that is the bummer, taking way to long. I don't remember the PS2 or XBOX being this slow to release games at their release or within the couple months after the releases.

oh man the PS2 library SUCKED for like the first six months. I remember when The Bouncer was like the first new game in over a month. There were few games and even fewer GOOD games out for the PS2 for quite some time. It was really bad. I don't remember how quickly games came for the Xbox as, even though I bought one on launch day, none of the stuff that DID come out for it really interested me for quite some time.

I'll believe Phantasy Star Online for DS when I see it.

there are a bunch of games that could benefit from the touch screen, i for one would like to see an online Diablo type game and I know Nintendo was anti online for a while, but they have to see that there are more and more people playing online, especially with DSL, Cable, Satelite internet connections being cheaper and more available than in the past. I thought that they would've taken advantage of this and had at least 1 or 2 launch titles online.
