Gp32 Ii

Looks nice....but who cares about looks. How fast does it go god dammit

Looks nice indeed - widescreen, 4 buttons and two shoulder ones as well as start and select... foldable is good as it means that screen will be safe. Looks kind of like that Via Eve thing we all saw a few months ago.

But indeed... how fast? And will it be upgradeable as rumoured? Heres hoping...

I want one.
spray: the deals off.

not really :p

but seriously if it can emulate ps2 im sold. but it needs more buttons dammit!!!!
if the buttons dont get sorted out ps1, ps2 and N64 emulation is out of the question

Looks cool, Huge screen, and also 4 buttons on the front! Great for SNES :D . Logo slightly cooler :p and the same old joystick hybrid :) . Also, great fold design. Hope this baby comes out soon :D :D :D Also, cooler colors than GP32.

The main question in my mind is whether this is guna be backwards compatible or not. May be a stupid question but alot of ppl would be gutted if all the progress was kinda lost. I mean with new hardware comes new software advantages but hopefully the community wnt break in two, one for the future and one the past.
At least we know that the GP32 scene will still live on as long as there are ppl that enjoy coding 4 it tho.

chances have it that if a new GP comes out, most people will code fo rit instead
IF a new one comes out, who cares as much about the old one? especially if its backwards compatable?

This excites me externally. Damn, all this saving up etc for my new GP32 and now there could be a new one, how annoying!
Oh well, least I'll find out from others first.

I hope you were joking about PS2 Nova.

fully serious. if its gonna compete with the others it needs power, gamepark will go bankrupt if they dont get their acts together and give it some raw power

...Gamepark is really good at sucking in the industry and staying alive, theyve done it for 3 years
and not even the Gizmondo, the most powerful handheld, will emulate anything above N64, and the PS - N64 will be sub par emulation at that
I want this for the movies! and for s few cool games, and better SNES emulation, and maybe since Quake 3 is going open source , we could port it!!!
WOOT!!

*Agreed*
shoudl gamepark make a 219ghz cpu for thair handheld just so you spoiled kid can enjoy your stinky ps2 games? not even the best pc's availible cant get ps2 emultion over a few fps.

but lets dont go offtopic and dont talk about emulation, that sucks :)

anyway *wannehave*

You're a fucking idiot.

Nova on rethink mode: ok maybe not ps2 too much power for a little machine but it has to endear itself to us cos the psp is looking very much like having homebrew soon

That screen looks lovely. It does feel seem like a cross between the DS and the PSP, which Gamepark would want.

Anyone with any photoshop skills spot any flaws of any kind?

yea i'd have to agree with peoples oppnions.

its real nice to actually get a glimpse of the next generation, be even nicer if the community carried on for a long, long time and this all helps.

tis a happy day
