The Communication Cube

A good bike thieve knows what to steal. Plus, they don't steal it, when they see you riding it at 60 km/h. They'd steal it, when they see it locked up with you're not being around.

Do you also need a loop to secure your front wheel? I use a d'lock through the back wheel and the seat post and whatever I'm locking it to to secure the back wheel and the frame, and a steel cable from a cheap lock to loop through the spokes of the front wheel to discourage casual thieves from taking that. That's the best you can do - anyone determined to take your bike will remove whatever it's locked to from the ground and take it somewhere the lock can be ground out, so there's very little you can do against that, so the best thing to do is discourage casual theives maybe carrying either a cable cutter or a pry bar.

My plan is to don’t park where the bike can be stolen,
Like in our house ceiling or in our shop ,
My other plan is a good insurance and the U Lock and the other lock to use booth
But most of the time I am on the bike whe it’s outside and it should be pretty though for a bad guy to steal a bike running E-Bike ^^

Just use rust paint and no one will care to get it. I never lock my bike anywhere.
I also imagine that my bike stands that out from the mass that a thief would be too afraid to grab it.

Mofalenker, fuck yea.

2 good locks, and some extra care, as i dotnt want to repaint the Bike, this Yellow Black reminds me on my Child Bycicle ^^
Unfortunaly they made the Elektrical Parts (battery Cover, Motor), in Black, as well as the Fenders and the "Lenker" (Stearing Rod? ) , and if i look on my Picture, the Bike looks a bit whyrd: maybe the Frame is a bit small for this big tires.. ^^

Normally the top tube running from the head tube to the seat post is nominally horizontal, although in recent years especially on smaller bikes it's started to slope more and more. Yours seems to be at exactly the same angle as your seat stays which is a new style to me, but I'm not really an expert on anything other than my own bikes.

On this Bike, they made the Top Tube a bit lower at the rear to make the Mounting /Unmounting a bit easer, because the Tires are quite big whit 29", its still quite divicult for me to swing my leg over the Frame, but i think this just needs some more practise..

I spent a moment working out if the language a couple sat adjacent to me on the train could be Italian. It was French.

I now hate myself for feeling some relief, and for knowing that it's a completely irrational response.

Yesterday, my Dad took a quick Ride on the E-Bycicle too, and he also liked it, but unfortunaly then it starts to rain so he only drove the Street up and back..
The Bike will be used by booth of us, as he is in retiement so he can use it at week, and i can use it on the Weekends..

And i lend my whole Harry Potter Books Collection to my Niche, as Hardcover, these 7 Books where realy heavy..

I had this morning finally the opportunity to take another ride on my Bycicle,
Only 15 km but therefore a bit more „Off-road „ as the Forrest Ways where quite Muddy after the long Rain this week..
Was quite fun, but unfortunately my new Bike is now also a bit Muddy :(
But nothing a washing day can’t fix ^^
I ditnt want my to make it dirty, I was quite slow when I saw Mud, but then I decided to take a quite heavy mountain road where also Horse Stables where and then I came on a Forrest Way whit heavy mud,
I drove in Turbo Mode and hoped to not get stuck, but at the end, I got stuck and had a fell a bit from my bike but managed to jump of the Frame and saved the Bike from fell in the Mud ^^
aThis was the biggest incident that far.. ^^

I was curious why there was a Cable on my Steering Rod that is not attached to something, so I asked in the Bike Shop:
It’s for a Automatic Saddle : this is a Saddle you can push up if you don’t need it, par exemple for some Off-road Situation or something, and when you push the button on the Steering Rod, it’s come back..

And because it’s a bit difficult to put this cable in, it’s also on bikes whiteout the Automatic Saddle so you only need to mount the Button and this Saddle..

happy Pi day, all. i wasn't very festive today, but i was working on adapting a ray-tracer for low-res graphics, which uses PI in there somewhere (also has spheres). i think that counts :). the original git repository only outputs to ppm files, but i can run mine in SDL and i'm adding fun little features here and there (directional lights, nice code structure, etc.).

output.gif

it occurs to me that i could make a portal-like game with a ray tracer, and the portal render logic would be taken care of "automatically" by the ray tracer algorithm (more or less). fun to think about, of course, but i should try to think of some minimal game that might be fun...

Making portal graphics in the more common vertex based engines is quite easy anyway; just render the scene twice, once from the PoV of the player character and one from the output of the portal, then render the one from the portal inside the input portal. Of course in the game portals are bi-directional and you might be able to see both portals in which case you'd need to render three PoVs, and I dare say you could limit the screen area you need to render for at least half of the scenes with a very minimal number of spottable differences (maybe shadows would be borked for example). In a ray tracing scheme you'd need to implement a magic wormhole that takes rays heading into the input portal and translate them over to the output portal for every ray that goes there, and I'm not completely sure whether that's more or less easy to implement in practice.

How about a puzzle game where the central part of a picture is placed off to the side of the main image (which'll therefore have a hole in it) and you need to reconstruct the image to the test camera by placing objects between the test camera and the image plane. With mirrors it would be quite easy, but what if you only had two glass triangles?

So, it was a quit nice Bike Tour Today, 2 Hours, 30,4 km and i drove around the whole valley,
But I think I will put my next tour on the week, because there where whey to much pedestrians,
Some ditnt hear my Bell, somethimes I have to ask kindly „Achtung Fahrrad, ich überhole mal kurz, vielen Dank „ (Attention please, May you please let me through sil vous play ?? , thanks in advance)

I think my next Tour will be Thursday (Donnerstag) , also there should be 17 Degrees Celsius on my Place
