Here is another port of a demo from Fit & Bandwagon.
Is called Micery and was an easy port thanks to the authors that coded in a multiplatform way:cool:
This demo run thanks to GLshim (i use the very latest revision from ptiSeb), sources are included in PND.

Please note:
This demo does not have an end...so to exit press ESC (Fn+q).

Question, hwo do you approach the port ? Those are WIndows demo in the first place, right ? You said it was coded to be "multiplatform", but what kind of standard libraries did they use at the time?

Well generally my approach is :
  • Is source available ?
  • Demo is available for other platforms ? (Linux or Unix in special way)
  • Is demo runnig using standard library ? or if a special lib is required...if the sources are available..for what platforms ?
  • Is running using OpenGL ?
  • is using some advanced version of GL ?
Next step is trying to adapt the makefile (if present) to pandora, and type "make" to compile to see if it's easy to obtain a program properly compiled/linked.
Next is take a look at the "init" function to see the resolution used at runtime...change if necessary and recompile.
Next step is create/adapt a bash script that will run the demo..setting a properly adapted LD_LIBRARY_PATH and if needed the use of any special lib (like GLshim with it's many optional parameters to test, or the Omap dedicated version of SDL by notaz).

Well this demo is coded multiplatform as i read on readme:
Created on Linux and Mac OS X using free tools such as GCC, gmake, FTE,
RCS and Wings 3D. Thanks to the authors of these wonderful programs.
and next compiled on Windows and other OS.
This demo is using SDL+OpenGL to run.

If you open this link you could download many version for other OS of this demo.

I have found the sources of other demos that have only Windows version of the code...and this are much more difficult (for me at least) to convert/adapt and compile on a linux platform like Pandora.

about toon shading...i'm using a 2016 release of SGX driver (exclusive for CC :p&|a:) ...:p

no i'm joking ;)
there isn't a toon shading effect in this demo (even on my pc with a nivdia card)...what you see on screenshot...is my fault when i resized the images that i found online...as i was too lazy to take pandora screen when i packaged.
Sorry.
[doublepost=1452716739,1452707488][/doublepost]After the reply i checked the sources...and there is inside gl_render.c a chunk of code that do "Cartoon rendered" object...so i was fooled by the expression toon shading...but maybe you would mean toon render ?
Anyway i test all my ports with the only unit i have (a CC Pandora) with default drivers.
