Pandora is pretty cool but as time goes on better funded commercial shops are starting to release their own OMAP based hardware. Of course they aren't as open as pandora, but they're able to leverage economy of scale & selling extra services better. Even those stupid car gps units are starting to look more and more appealing as portable computers (when hacked that is).

Today I've gone from hell no to feeling like I reallllllllllllly want one (even though I had been planning on buying an HD4870 to replace my Radeon X850 Pro). It looks so awesome, and I didn't realize how far along some stuff was, like psx4pand.

With a 16GB SDHC, this would be a amazing.

I feel incredibly confident in the Pandora team, and as of now I WILL be buying a pandora. I am waiting for a specific feature though, (n64 emulator @ 20+ fps). I know that might not happen, and I am still willing to buy a Pandora, but knowing I will get an n64 emulator will make things a lot easier.

I am incredibly new to the scene, being young, and I have been on Zodttd's forums (my current emulation machines are the iPhone and NDSL). I would love to buy from the first 3000, but I am simply not confident enough. Once I have seen videos and reviews of the Pandora first 3000, and I like what I see, I will buy. Otherwise I will wait for the second batch. I would feel really bad if that batch never happened...
