Xperia Play vs. Yinlips YDPG 17

What if he wasn't against a 5-7 inch screen, os other than ios or android, internet capabilities(browsing, netflix, youtube), multimedia capable(video without a lot of converting, audio), and possibly swappable storage options(flash is okay, but 2.5 hdd is ok too!)?  I have an Archos 605 which is okay, but internet is locked down.  It doesn't emulate at all...only some flash games.  Video codecs are locked down.  Web radio is locked down.  Audio is good.  Video playback is very good.  Some videos have to be converted with Windows media player which crashes almost every time.  I had a viliv which was okay as a MID, but the charging jack came off of the PCB.  I am not handy with soldering.  Now, it is a brick. When I had it running, I used it for flash games, tv-out, movies, rosetta stone, music, and web browsing.  Anyway, any suggestions?

If wasn't against the larger devices, how about a GPD-Q88+

Looks decent enough, IPS screen and battery is ok, the rest is usual stuff.

The analogue sticks look a bit flaky but the dpad looks nice to me
