Threads like this have got to be SO irritating for the OP team. None of us have even seen the cases, and yet here's a poll asking if we will be satisfied with it... What good can it POSSIBLY do? I feel confident in saying that MOST of the people on these boards couldn't have pulled off what they have thus far -- so why not just trust them to make the right decision (and even if you DON'T trust them, it's pretty arrogant to think that they should have to change their plans based on a stupid poll)? The wide-open development process is cool for some things, but it sure has some annoying aspects as well... :\

Edit: I should clarify, I meant it's arrogant to think that they should have to change their plans based on a poll, rather than you just deciding this isn't good enough for you, and getting a refund.

You get back to ATF, don't know who let you out. :D
Any updates per chance?
Be finished tomorrow. Nothing left to do now but the levels.

Graphics are a problem - I'm doing them
Thanks for the update, really good news!

Stop trolling dude. I dont force devs to give the green light in accordance with the poll results. I just want em to know our opinion.
You didn't say opinion, you said decision.

Hopefully, the team has the good sense to ignore them.

@wizardstan

I think he meant a decision of our opinion on nothing. I don't know about you, but my opinion on nothing is pretty just.

A bit like, is the glass half empty or half full?

If it were craig's glass it would no doubt be full.......................hang on a mo....................it's now empty..................wait, it's filling up again!

I have to vote No. I tried to ignore all the faults at first, but to no avail. What it really comes down to is this: Do we really want these 3rd revision cases to be housing our long-awaited perfect device? I'm sad to say they definitely need some more tweaking. This may take a week, a month, two months, maybe even six months. Or a year. But I can bear it knowing that my Pandora will be absolutely perfect.

At a certain point you have to stop picking at nits and except a flaw or two. But the main issue is simply What is it that makes them not perfect? if it's something like a slightly crooked icon on the silk screen, that's one thing, if it's a misaligned shell that could get snagged on clothing or cut someone I dont think anyone would want it as a final case. Maybe the finish isnt perfect but I think everyone could live with the battery cover being shinier than the rest of the case. Will the lid flop around when you open it? that would seem amateurish.

Just in from Craig's Twitter
Craigix We might go with some of these cases. They are not perfect, but I've no doubt many people will not care as long as the controls work.

What does he mean by "some of these cases". And truthfully I was okay with the second revision case.

I'd have to assume some of the cases are variable in quality. Some of the cases will probably be good for final units while others will not, then they'll crack the whip on the factory and tell them "green light but do better with the full run."

Craigix is usually so positive and optimistic... it makes me think that the twitter comments are a joke to add suspense.
