I'll trust the developers judgement and be happy with what they decide.

I can't believe that people have already voted without even having all the facts first. These people obviously don't give a damn about this project or all the work that the devs have put into it. Greedy bastards

how bad could they possibly be? Everything fits and feels fine according to what has been said... Sounds like the case serves its purpose.

I voted yes, because a loosely translated one sentence email from an unreliable chinese factory should be enough information to go on.

UPS also delivered them a day earlier than expected, so that must mean they are really good too.

Short version: the community opinion means nothing, shut up and continue waiting.
I don't agree with you.
Good, I don't want you to agree with me, if that "short version" is what you thought I said.
There is a world of difference between voicing an opinion, and making a decision. It is not our decision to make, we are taking zero risk here, we do not have even the simplest of information. By all means, voice your opinion on the state of the cases even with absolutely no information to go on if it'll make you feel better, but don't pretend for even an instant that you or I or any of us have any right to decide what Craigix and EvilDragon and MWeston who have basically gambled their lives on this product should or should not do. I've offered my thoughts on what I would do, based on all the information we had, but have never actually expected that advice to be followed, nor even reasonable if given more information. The fact that you think otherwise strikes me as pure arrogance.
I'm in a very bad mood right now, and this entire topic isn't helping.

I voted yes because all the mechanical problems were fixed and I was quite happy with how the second case looked. So, why wouldn't I accept the third case?

I'm quite confident there's going to be the green light next, because if not ......

For all you know the third revision cases could have introduced new problems that the other revisions didn't have making them less stable.
Why would you risk getting inferior cases after waiting all this time??

Stop trolling dude. I dont force devs to give the green light in accordance with the poll results. I just want em to know our opinion.

Because you don't know what the problem is.
The fix for previous revision could've had a knock-on affect. Or it could be that the black they wanted isn't correct and could be a shade too dark. Fact is we don't know.
In the end they'll do what they have done up till now, see if it's to the standard they want, personally in this I trust them.
The fact he said they'll go with it, means hopefully it's ok. But I would just take that as an initial thought.

edit spelling

I don't think some people are clear on what "trolling" means.

"In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[2]"

Yelling at you, correcting you, or even actually being a douchebag are not trolling.
Trolling is more like if someone came in and said "OMG why are you bothering with Linsux just buy a Pandora"
Trolling is NOT "omg when will be finished?", that's being whiny.
Trolling is NOT "FUUUUU- SHUT UP YOU ARE ALL SO ANNOYING", that's off-topic. It's close, but I think it's just a case of voicing thoughts that are better left unsaid.

We have no opinion ;)

Exactly. We don't have the data to base an opinion on, as far as I can see. Of course, there's every liklihood that Craig is just pulling our plonkers - he is well known to have an... inexact usage of the English language. It could be that the cases are not so much "not perfect" as "good enough". One is a negative review, the other positive withouth claiming too much. IMHO.

Me? I could wait another delay for a better case, if it's worth it. Simple, really.
