What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Finished Skyward Sword (Wii). Best Zelda game I've played so far. Integration of the motion controls into combat is really well done and greatly adds to the experience. A gamepad with gyro sensor is highly recommended when emulating the game in addition to mapping the sword strokes to the right analogue stick. Over 60 hours of ingame time - wow.

SS is underrated. It's just another masterpiece..

Looking back, I had a LoZ golden age about 20 years ago. Wii was my first console after SNES and I played SS, TP, WW and OoT, all in close succession. I didn't have a preference I loved them all.

Have you played Links Awakening? I'm interested in whether you think 3D is really better.

No I haven't played Link's Awakening. As far as the old portable games go I'm only a few hours into Oracle of Seasons. I should really buy a handheld to play those old titles. Looks weird playing them on PC all blown up.

While A Link to the Past is one of my favourite games, I think the verticality adds tremendously to the dungeon designs and the fun of exploration.

I played Links Awakening remaster directly after BotW and I wouldn't say I prefer one over the other, both are top tier.

Then I replayed BotW because I felt somehow I hadn't mastered it so wasn't ready for TotK. I got all the DLC.

Now my family is gone this weekend so I can finally kiff in the house so I'm thinking this might be a good chance to lock myself in and play TotK.

Thanks to Crossover for Mac I had the chance to test some Windows Steam games on my MacBook Pro M4 this second half of last week: did only try stuff out, Truck and Logistic Simulator, Ultra Street Fighter 4, Celste, Binding of Isaac, but also more heavy stuff like BeamNG Drive (this was quite impressive), and Palworld 1.0
So I did play yesterday the whole day Palworld, did defeat the first boss, did build up my first 2 Manufacturing Lines, did maybe configure my game a way that I get too many XP, but its for me anyway just a big Pokemon Sandbox .. , maybe later I will have a run where I use normal difficulty ..
Also I did today start whit Dusklight DS, the Dual Screen Fork of Dusklight, an Android Port of the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess,
looks and plays quite fantastic on the Ayn Thor, I did even manage to play until the part, where you have to gather sword and shield for midna in the Ordon Village after you did met Zelda in the Twilight World, I don't know the correct therms in English, I play the German Language Version ^^, but I did also load up the first 10 Twillight Princess Manga in English on Mihan on my E-Ink Tablet ..
