No, the game runs but you can have native Switch 2 support as an upgrade. It adds better graphical quality etc.You have to pay extra for backwards compatibility?
I want to like the Borderlands series, and tried multiple times from the start, but it just doesn't catch me in a way to continue playing for some reason. Claptrap is still a funny guy, and I don't know what's specifically keeping me from playing.Borderlands 2
I'm almost at the end of the main story, but there are still a lot of things to do and I'm enjoying it a lot !!
It is an improvement of the first title in every aspect and also there are new classes to chose from.
I tried the Mechromancer and is super cool, at the beginning I was expecting to have an almost unuseful robot, and instead turned out to be a beast !! LOL !! It singlehandedly was able to beat many bosses while I was hiding in fear !!
The story is more complex and deep than the one in the first game and it's a proper sequel using the playable characters of the first game as NPC now.
Now that I played this game I can't understand very much all the critics received by the movie (that I have seen before having played the first game)... it is based on the story of this second game (just abbreviated a lot), and graphically was made with a lot of attention to details.
I wouldn't have anyone to play Borderlands with, but I assume co-op would be more fun. In the past I played Halo co-op to and that was fun to. I now play it by myself on PC but on Xbox it was either split-screen or via LAN.Finished The Holy Gosh Darn. Humorous biblical-heaven-themed adventure that involves time travel. Lovable characters, great voice acting and music... recommended.
Borderlands is a lot more fun in co-op. Well I guess that goes for most games.
Edit: Now playing The Messenger. Cool jump'n'run, like a modern Ninja Gaiden, some Celeste-like gameplay with the resetting jumps. Good difficulty curve.
Edit: I guess you'd call this a precision platformer. Finally getting to use my arcade stick again, works like a charm. The microswitches have pleasing acoustics and haptics.
Just found an exploit-ish move: If you waggle left and right while swinging your weapon, each direction change resets the attack check for any target. If you do that in front of e.g. a bosses' large weak point, you can get in like 6-7 hits in per jump. Pro strats B-)
I should really play a Halo. I've only played a bit of the remake's beta. It allowed you to switch between remake and original with a hotkey. I'm sure that tickled the players' nostalgia nipples just right, great feature for a remake.
