When would you complain?
I mean, you're still waiting, right vcoleiro1? The Pyra will still have value to you when you finally get it, right? If it were too long then you'd have cancelled because at that point it is no longer as valuable to you as the money you've put into it.
just to clear up something with WizardStan: AFAIK, vcoleiro1 hasn't preordered... nothing against him/her...
When it's no longer valuable to me and I'm ready for a refund. Until then complaining accomplishes nothing. Less than nothing, actually: it causes a burden on EvilDragon and those of us waiting patiently. You honestly believe he's just sitting on his ass waiting for someone to complain that it's been too long? Like "oh hey, yeah, I guess I'll hit the big green button now. I was going to wait another 6 months while doing nothing, but I guess people really want this"
No, he's going as fast as he can and when things are done they'll be done. Complaining won't make it go any faster.
Just cancel without complaining and asking before is not very fair.
This collective exchange brings up an interesting question. Does pre-ordering and/or purchasing an item give you a right to complain?
On Amazon the reviews are often accompanied by a flag for someone being a verified purchaser of the product. For future purchasers, the reviews made by actual purchasers hold more value - whether positive or negative. This measure would mean that comments by m@t (pre-ordered) would have more value than comments by vcoleiro1 (not pre-ordered). By extension, having purchased or in this case pre-ordered, it is conceivable that m@t has purchased the right to complain. That in itself does not make his complaints valid - validity is a matter of perception.
So - yes, m@t's complaints have value, and he has conceivably purchased the license to state them. That doesn't put any of the rest of us other purchasers under any obligation to agree with him.
