I noticed these in a video before but forgot to ask about them. Does anyone know what the two lights in the attached image are? (circled in green).

Visible in this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkbFdJG5xuY (can't really see the blue light in this one)
and - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k82bMZ3kMoI&feature=related (this is the one the screenshot is from)

They seem to be almost in the middle and I wasn't aware of any lights there...

The LCD backlight, I guess?
And that blue light is just a reflection of that other light probably.
Actually, I have no clue whatsoever ---

It could be the LEDs without the lightpipe installed. LCD backlight is more plausible though.

lies! Microsoft employees don`t HAVE souls, sheesh, you must think I`m daft or something (don`t answer that!)

anyway, it`s common knowledge, unidentified lights are always something to do with aliens.

so, confirmed, Pandora based on area 51 technology.

Lies... It's the trapped soul of a ex-Microsoft employee.
Isn't it obvious? it's DNA from Richard Stallman.

I always knew Richard Stallman was "Holier than thou", but I didn't realize his DNA actually glows because of it. Interesting.

Isn't it sad how we're all left to analyze details of prototypes in brief videos and obsess about them? Well, at least I am and the starter of this thread is- I had wondered the same thing.

It's actually because I hadn't looked at these videos much and then suddenly noticed the light again (first thing I originally noticed) and thought I'd ask as I couldn't think of any other lights that should be there. Maybe it's a design idea and some of the light bleeds through and illuminates the Pandora logo on the top :p

It's Cherenkov radiation.
Oh shit, I watched the video again, and now I see the typical blinking blue light behind my eyelids! You were right, it IS radiation! I only have 24 hours left to live! I hope that not too many were exposed...

Edit: it's pretty cool that the fission reactor works for the Pandora, however. They really need to add quite a bit of lead if they want to pass the FCC tests, though.
