Stonekeep struggles even on my Asus EEE 900, and that's x86 (from what I understands DOSBox makes use of that), Stonekeep is simply quite demanding on DOSBox. I'm amazed it runs this well.

How much does it struggle?
Well, it may have something to do with the lastest version (AFAIK, Pandora Dosbox version is fresh from the SVN). IIRC, Dosbox made a big leap in perfomance since Dosbox 0.74 and, as Pickle said, the dynarec in Pandora Dosbox still has room for improvement (Probably you have already tried that one on PC with the right settings so I´m talking bullshit :p )

Anyway, we have another heavy-weight contender up for the challenge (WINE). Fingers crossed ^^

Ususally it runs fine, but if there are large sprites or many sprites on screen the framerate drops noticeably (using level 3 fire spell fills the screen with fireballs and the framerate drops to single digits)

I am using the GOG.com Version which comes with DOSBOX 0.73 and replaced the DOSBOX files with version 0.74. The speed is roughly the same regardless of display interface used used (OpenGL, DirectDraw, etc).

By the way, you can get both Stonekeep and the Gabriel Knight Series from GOG.com, DRM free and you can download them as often as you like:

My quick and dirty little vid about the ol' pandora. Just trying to show some of the less common stuff.

Now I feel guilty for slagging of all the blurry, wobbly videos I've seen in the past. (is actually harder to film properly than I first thought)
