That looks fantastic. In portrait mode especially.

Edit: typo
Edit 2:

Comix is python, and has very light dependencies. It should run without modification.

I looked in the repo and they don't have comix or any other comic book reader :( Thanks for the link though.
Yeah I've just finished a quick search myself but found no version that will work unaltered on the Pandora.
I seem to remember someone saying that they were going to port it a year or so ago. Can't find a link at the moment though :(

EDIT: Never mind. Mindlord's just cleared it up before I could check and see what it is written in. Ports ahoy :D

I double checked the Pandora preinstalled software list and found that all required libraries are already there. This should just run, it won't even need "porting". Someone might want to PND it up, though.

Sweetness.

Thanks :) That looks really nice!

Does the program support touch screen scrolling?

I wonder if the Pandora will replace the rule books for me. At least it will be great for reading the rules for games I do not own.

Since we are talking about PDFs, could anyone download the rules for my card game and take a photo of it on their Pandora? View it in full width, the pages are meant to be folded so they are quite long.

The game is currently in print and is published by Z-Man Games. Due to be released in August.

Wow! Congratulations! That's so cool: we have a published game designer in the house.

I'll do it if I can find the right info :)

EDIT: Never mind. Just realised that I'm currently stuck using a windows laptop and all the scripts are Linux only.
Some one else will have to do it :(
I'm working on it.

Edit: New thread with beta pnd here.

Yes, thanks :)

This is my 2nd game. I was contracted to do my first game and it's only available in Swedish. This card game is my first completely own design. The publisher didn't change anything except hired an artist to redo my art (similar design) and create that rule sheet from my rules. The new artwork is amazing and I had a lot of influence on the final look and I'm very happy with the end result. Z-Man Games is a growing American publisher, I own a few or their published games myself. Their selection vary a lot and they like to do unique and innovative games.

I wish I had my Pandora with me when I went to Essen (Germany) last year for Spiel (the world's largest annual board game convention). Would have been great when I was sitting at the airport for hours waiting for my flight home. I'm not going this year but probably next year, really need to get some working prototypes made.

GTA 2
Colin MC Rae Rally 2.0
Road Rash Jailbreak
and Final Fantasy 7

because i dont apple to trey it out yet, i dont have a Pandora until i get it, i ordered in nov08..

I was browsing tinyvid.tv , after trying to upload some completely non-pandora-related video and I found this (a well seen video of PSX4Pandora) as the second most recent upload. It is not new but to see a Pandora video when not looking for one was quite something.

EDIT: In fact, somebody appears to be converting a whole bunch of Pandora related videos onto tinyvid.

Simple request. Has anyone tried streaming a movie via NAS to their Pandora?

When encoded correctly, the videos look amazing. These are my early settings for videos.
