A mate of mine died of Cancer yesterday. He was 40.

He smoked heavily until the last year. He wished he had never smoked a single fucking moron in his life.

He saw a doctor because he was in terrible pain, the doctor (I think twice) sent him away telling him it wasn't cancer, but with no proper examination. If this twat had actually done his job and given Dave an examination, Dave would have been able to beat the disease. a year later, when someone actually took his pain seriously, it was too late.

He was only just married. It's really bad.

My sincere condolences :(

It may still have been ok, but I hate it when doctors dont do their job. Sue that bitch, why? Because he failed to fulfill the hippocratic oath.
Yeah I love doctors too. One gave my grandmother some pills to help her weak heart. We all later found out that he in fact gave her pills that gave her a heart attack and killed her.

Fucking imbeciles. They also love giving out antibiotics and drugs for trivial shit like colds. A good friend of mine is on broad spectrum shit for things like a runny nose. They make him even sicker ;)

I just drink some spinich juice and take vitamin C powder and I'm free of my head cold in less than 24 hours. Too bad all doctors are too stupid to realize this.

The medcal indu$try also says chronic Cannabis smoking will cause (among other deadly side effects  ) short-term memory loss. In Big Brain Academy for the DS I consistently score perfectly in the memorization tests ... directly after smoking.

I also hardly ever get colds ... and when I do, they go away in a day or 2. Also, I don't have a doctor ... haven't been to one since my industrial accident over 12 years ago.

ha! Same thing with me. Since I've been smoking my colds go away ridiculously fast. All I fucking did was drink some vegitable juice a couple times and BAM it was gone. I've done that in the past and although it helped, it was never like this.

Never played Big Brain/Brain Age for the DS, but I CAN say my coordination is off after smoking. Tackle football was amusing

Also please elaborate on this "industrial accident" you speak of.

I'm going to take a guess at what the 'industrial accident' is that he speaks of. Telco is a porn star in real life and whilst filming a rather vigorous scene he incurred a penile fracture. As this stopped him from working he considers it an 'industrial accident'.

Industrial Accident:

I used to work as a Boiler Plant Technician. The theory of a closed steam heating plant is that after the steam goes into the tennent's radiators (this was a heating plant for a public housing project; some 3000+ apartments), it is cooled, then condenses back into air and water. This water is reclaimed through a series of pumps, then stored into a large take for re-using as water for steam.

It's loaded with chemicals to keep rust out, make it less viscous, etc. One day, I was working with this old-timer (sloppy worker he was) on one of the giant condensate pumps, replacing the motor. We closed the shut-off valve feeding the pump tank, located in a pit about 10' below the floor and were trying to remove the motor when it happened;

... I couldn't remove the motor from the pump impeller housing, even after removing all the bolts. I was given the brilliant advice to kick the motor to free it from the rusty housing, which I did, since I only had ~3 months on the job and 'didn't know anything' ... then KABLOOOEY!! The pressurized sub-boiling water exploded all over my left leg, from my ankle to nearly my goodie pack ... turns out the shut-off valve was defective and didn't shut off anything ... I didn't even climb the ladder to escape from the pit; I think I jumped straight up, ran to the adjacent compacter room, stripped off what was left of my pants, and flushed my leg with water from a hose.

I spent 10 days in the hospital with 2nd and 3rd degree burns, and got addicted to morphine. Oh, and I got a settlement from the city .. not much, but it helped out.

The End.

The moment you mentioned steam, i knew how it was gonna end.

Got any scar photos?

Heh, goodie pack.

Plastic surgury? Skin grafts?

Nope. It took about 3 years for my leg hair to grow back, but I narrowly avoided needing skin grafts ... I heal very well :)

(... again, due to the enormous amounts of cannabinoids in my cells ...)
