The Communication Cube

Not ready yet, but promising:
Great. Thanks a lot. I fear it may be expensive, and I don't really like BY-NC-SA (because of NC).
But it's soooo much better than the options I knew. I hope it comes to fruition.
Lovely.
I'm a little puzzled that it says it can print A3 (297x420mm) and 27mm paper roll. Why not 297mm paper roll ? I guess it's a typo, but which typo ? mm->cm ? 27 -> 270 ? 27-> 297 ? But in imperial units it says 11 inches, not 11.7 .... ????

Eugh windows eleven...
got a laptop at work that has a 2017 intel cpu and I'm tempted to change the registry to allow installation despite of it, but not sure about future problems
my own pc apparently is going to be a problem aswell because windows was installed the non-uefi way, and there's grub ontop of it

unrelated: Kaiju No. 8 is fun to watch, there's not too much cgi involved

The other day I learned that one my favourite musicians, Mike Patton of Faith No More, did voice acting in one of my favourite games, Portal. He played the GLaDOS Anger Core (ai). Cool. I googled it and one of top ai results was a detailed hallucination about a paedophilia conviction:

Mike Patton (the lead singer of bands like Faith No More and Mr. Bungle) was charged in 2000 with two counts of violating federal law by transporting a minor across state lines for criminal sexual activity and traveling in interstate commerce for sexual acts with a juvenile. He pleaded guilty to two counts in January 2001, admitting he had traveled from Ohio to Kentucky with a 13-year-old boy and engaged in sexual activity with him, in violation of Ohio and Kentucky sex abuse statutes.

All lies.

Fuck ai. It's a terrible use of computers and a disgrace.

Do you think we should tell him?

Dream description time: I'd died and ended up in some kind of afterlife, then I thought I saw someone familiar.

Me: Peony, is that you?
P: *Turns round* Yes tis I.
Me: Oh no.
P: :|

I recently stumbled across the following research paper.

Found another one.

Russia to allow reservist to leave Russian territory: https://understandingwar.org/resear...ffensive-campaign-assessment-october-13-2025/

"The Kremlin removed some restrictions on using Russian reservists in combat, allowing the Kremlin to employ reservists in its war in Ukraine."
"European officials continue to note how Russia is intensifying its covert and overt attacks against Europe, supporting ISW’s assessment that Russia has entered 'Phase Zero' — the informational and psychological condition setting phase — of its campaign to prepare for a possible NATO-Russia war in the future. "
